Ready to start reading faster? Spritz technology (http://spritzinc.com) lets you burn through all those books and articles that have been piling up by making speed reading easy even for someone with no training. The average adult reading speed is 250 wpm. With Spritz, you could double or even triple that speed after just a little bit of practice.

Spritz is the best speed reading technology, and SpeedRead With Spritz is the best speed reading app for Android devices. Here’s why:

Works with reading apps you already use
You don’t have to switch to our app every time you want to speed read. SpeedRead With Spritz works with any app that can share text or has “text to speech” technology. When you’re ready to start speed reading, simply hit share or the text to speech button, and you’re off. Switch back whenever you want to take a break.

Popular apps that are compatible with SpeedRead With Spritz include:

• Pocket
• Google Play Books
• Google Play Newsstand
• Moon+
• @Voice Aloud Reader
• FBReader
• ezPDF
• And Many More!

Easy set-up
After you download the app, follow the prompts to log in to your Spritz account and switch your text to speech settings, and you’re ready to speed read. Spritz technology is simple and intuitive, so there’s no long tutorial or steep learning curve.

Unlimited possibilities
SpeedRead With Spritz works with any format that your favorite e-reader can handle, allowing you to read ePub books, online articles, PDFs and more. Furthermore, there’s no limit to your speed. Want to read at 500 wpm? 1,000? 2,000? Go for it! We allow you to crank the speed as high as you want – the only limit is your ability.

Really interesting idea and I enjoy using it just wish it was easier to start and stop.

Hello. I am loving these speed reading apps. I have to give this app three stars. Another star will be earned if the app allows users to relocate where to start reading out loud. The app constantly keeps bring me to sections of the book where I don't want to start reading. Hope this makes sense and can be fixed. I am willing to change my review. PS: I strongly suggest adding a meta guiding option along with the RSVP option like Outread. I almost debated switching to an iPhone because of their meta guiding option. Outread offers both.

Easy set-up, but requires a bit of digging to figure out how to use with pocket. Positives: nice to have a speed reading app that configures right into apps I already use. Negative: Loads slowly, words appear at the same rate regardless of length, I can't seem to see the benefit of registering and logging in vs offline mode.

So far so good. Can't see why people are so unhappy with the app. I used this on a note 4, galaxy tab s2, and Nvidia shield tablet and all worked flawlessly. I think low end devices in my experience always have issues with TTS which is how this app works. Don't blame the app if your hardware can't handle it.

What a shame! I have been a fan of the Spritz reading for a long time and have been waiting for an app to read on the phone. This one however is a big disappointment. Does not work with Google books nor Kindle. Turns itself on every time I unlock the phone and is hard to turn off. So much potential wasted. Please, please Dev do some work and finish this app.

This used to work flawlessly, now I can't get it to work with any app. Feel cheated a bit after buying and seeing it work less and less. Then buying other paid apps that are supposed to work with it often don't. Too much headache and still can't get it to not force close.

when I read Turkish words, the characters is not shown, just blank. Can you give a Turkish language support? I think it is difficult. I'm waiting your reply.

It used to work with my Voice Aloud Reader App. But now it doesn't. I don't know why!

V70%
by V####:

Honestly, I would have loved to use this app. The desktop website is wonderful! The app... I'm not sure. Everytime I try to login in I get a "500 string error".

K70%
by K####:

Works great. At first I was reluctant because it's not an ebook reader itself, but that's actually better because I can both read the books and also easily read articles on the web, for example.

O70%
by O####:

Easy to set up; step by step instructions included. I'm primarily using it with Google Play Books. It always starts at where I left at. My only issue with it is that it drains my phone's battery very quickly, quicker than any other app I have used. Otherwise, I highly recommend it. It's definitely worth the small cost!

K70%
by K####:

Doesn't work well with Inoreader, only let you read the title and the link. The way around this is to select all text and share. Will that be fixed?

W70%
by W####:

Had high hopes for the app. It won't let me sign in with my Spritz account. I tried after changing the password, rebooting, and gave it a few days before trying again. I see other complaints were responded to asking for the reviewer to contact support. I already contacted support nearly a week ago with no reply. Maybe it takes a poor review to get some help.

K70%
by K####:

Extremely wonderful! Very easy to use and works with a lot of apps. The best speed reader I could find. I purchase it and it was well worth the dollar. I use it with Google Chrome for my school work when I'm riding.

R70%
by R####:

I can't open the app. It opens to a page that gives me the choice of "settings" and "FAQs", but I can't access any other pages to even try the app. Please help or refund.

E70%

this app is a very nice app for reading with spritz but it requires online and the offline mode sucks. it sucks so mucb that it puts for me the focus on t in the instead of h. please fix offline mode.

K70%
by K####:

Can't choose where you start reading in articles so if you need to exit at any point and come back you have to start over from the beginning.

N70%

K70%

I use to use it on Play books often. Doesn't seem to work anymore.

S70%
by S####:

I really like this app for reading my ebooks (I use and love Moon+ reader) and this app works wonderfully with it after you set it up. Instructions were simple and easy to follow. Reason for only 4 stars is that it does not allow me to ready web content/articles on my android mobile devices. Would give 5 stars if I could "Share" articles / webpages to the app and it would cause the SpeedRead interface to pop up and start reading.

Z70%
by Z####:

...but there aren't enough apps that support this.

Y70%

I can read so much more now!

K70%

Amazing! New favorite way to read.

K70%
by K####:

Says offline/download/preload on the way, but without it kind of useless. Interesting implementation via TTS, can't say i'd use it to read something new, keeping up with punctuation can be bothersome maybe blue for quotes and parenthesis, but great way to read an old favorite again. Haven't tried it for email or online articles, but most are too brief to make this worthwhile.

K70%
by K####:

Yes, some people have been complaining about the constant need for an internet connection. However, the usage is fairly small and absolutely worth it. It's helping me with my backlog of books!

P70%
by P####:

And I still comprehend everything. I've only tried max 350 wpm. That's already faster than my normal 250wpm--plus less distractions and interruptions from seeing a whole page of words before you and getting fatigued or mind wandering elsewhere.

K70%
by K####:

Love the app and I'm so glad there is finally a way to integrate spritz with Google play books, I've been wanting to do that for a while. My only issue is that I wish it was easier to navigate where the reading would start, often if something happens and I miss a paragraph I can't figure out how to go back a paragraph.

K70%
by K####:

Would be great but every other sentence it hitches and pauses. It's like it's trying to load the next round of words. Needs to be smoother to be a true speed reader.

K70%
by K####:

I use this app with Google Play Books and it is awesome! I enjoy using it to read fiction at 500 words per minute. Maybe it's just me, but my comprehension and enjoyment of reading increases using this app. At some point while using the app you begin to feel like you're watching a movie, it's very immersive, versus your eyes darting around the page when you read normally. Just a note, I prefer the offline mode of the app -- seems smoother and easier to control (I have a top spec phone) . Nice job!

Nothing special. If you couldn't read before, you wont start with this. I also dislike the fact that there is no trial/ trial time for this app. You have to buy it outright. Although I did, I'm uninstalling this 10 hours later.

K70%
by K####:

It needs the option to change the default encoding (so text with diacritics works) and also needs the option to treat hyphens as apostrophes. Giving it 2 stars until this changes. edit: Sent you an email describing the issue in more detail. Thanks.

More a gripe about Amazon. I use fbreader & moon+ on my Fire but when i try to use this plugin Amazon intercepts the attempt and won't allow it (speedread not on THEIR app store)
