Dropped My Droid

Dropped My Droid is similar to Find My Phone in that it lets you locate your phone when you loose it. The main difference is speed. Dropped My Droid can notify you that you have dropped your phone as little as half a second after it realizes that it has been dropped. The way it does this is through your phone's accelerometers. When the phone is no longer moving, you currently have the options of sounding an alarm on your phone, flashing your phone's light, and/or texting a friend your phone's last known location.

Dropped My Droid is perfect for times when you know that there is a small risk of dropping your phone but do not want to worry about it constantly. For example, in slope sports, motor sports, simply walking around, or even water sports given that you own a water proof case.
