Fare-O-meter has support for 18 cities in India and you can add unlimited number of custom cities if you know the rates. You can also use the GPS to verify that the meter is not tampered with.

It works well with predefined cities. But if you add a city, results shown are drastically inaccurate. For eg. I added Chennai where min fare is 25 & min corresponding distance is 1.8 km. With this input app shows fare of Rs 65 at 1.8 km instead of Rs 25. Also there is no way with which you can edit or delete manually added cities.

I installed this app on the basis of user interface but it wasn't friendly enough......on my Galaxy Ace, it didn't show me the settings icon on the right hand top corner.... Otherwise, its a great app!!

Kept telling me to wait for gps to lock I restarted the app 4 times & tested my gps with my map app & worked fine so this app is broken my phone is new
