Raise for Android
Hate this update! For starters I can't even see what half of my gift cards are unless I click on them! Secondly, and most importantly, why am I not required to enter a PIN number before I use my cards??? I'm completely screwed if I lose my cell phone! And last, what happens to my birthday? I've had to put it in at least four times now. Anybody know how I can go back to the old version?
You had to update a perfectly working old app? That's what happen when a company have to much money they keep hiring people to improve when there is no need for major improvement anywhere all you guys needed was to add brand alert function. These kind of acts takes down an entire company. Don't do any major updates unless consumers tell you so...
This app used to work fairly well, the update before the last ruined the interface, installed the latest update hoping they realized what a mess it was and now it is substantially worse and basically unusable. Go back to simple and straight forward there is no reason this app should be so bloated.
I'm not sure what this app has. I can log into the website and the old app worked fine. Since it wasn't broken, someone had to fix it. The verification code will not come through after I log in. The "did not receive code" button doesn't work either. I've called the company twice and no one seems interested in fixing the problem.
The app was working fine until the last update now i can't purchase new cards or access any of my previous purchases. Update Appears there was an update in the play store app now the app is working for me. Thanks for correcting the issue with the update.
New app update makes the redemption experience way easier than before. I can actually walk into Chipotle and scan the barcode now. Looks like there's been a complete overhaul and now I feel more confident that redeeming in store will actually work.
Customer service was horrible at best. Took 5 days to get a refund for a card that didn't work, and ultimately they refunded as an "exception" to their return policy. Read the fine print, because these guys will rip you off.
Discounts are good. Easy transactions. Cards show up to your account within 2 minutes. They have a lot, wish they had even more!
I am very happy with the costumer service I was have a problem with one gift card but they to take care of me and give me my refund very fast I love this app
Very quick at processing ecards. The app is well designed and easy to follow. The only constructive feedback I have is as of late I've found better deals with some of their competitors.
I just updated the app, still can't checkout a purchase, gets stick in payment selection screen.. crapApp.. ☹

Issues resolved. My account was locked because i missed the purchase verification email. First purchase needs a call in to verify, if you don't call in they lock your account which gives error messages at checkout.
Save your money. If you buy from a store you can at least get your money back within 30 days. This company will not give you anything back. I rather pay full price then this cheating app!

This used to be a great app However ever since the last major update, Raise has been having intermittent problems with in-app checkout. The app would freeze after user hit the purchase button. This seems to be a server side issue since it is very inconsistent. Both credit card and Android Pay exhibit the same problems. Furthermore the app sometimes take a very long time to send first login verification code. It is very inconvenient when users try to work around the app problems by using the website instead.
Used to love this app, bought cards on here nearly every week, now I hate it! Just spent 15 minutes trying to log in and buy a gift card. The apps been installed the whole time so why am I being so scrutinized? There is a 3 step login verification process. It wouldn't work with PayPal, Samsung Pay, or Android Pay. What a disappointment!
I loved this app....but now it is horrible. All my cards on my phone are useless because of the fact that all cards are showing the same card number and value. So when you open one up its not the value or card number it's suppose to be. Thousands and thousands in gift cards I can't use. I won't buy anything else until this mess is fixed. TO Raises Reply..... You want me to do what...email you, send you screen shots, be more detailed??? Done it all! How many emails and screen shots do you need? How about this....rather than acting like you are fixing....How about you really fix it for real and stop procrastinating! I have thousands tied up in cards I can't use and the chargebacks are about to start!
I loved this app before the update, raved about it to whomever would listen. I'm so disappointed, DISGUSTED with the update, I can't recommend the app to anyone. It's less intuitive, less attractive and basically non-functional. I've not been able to purchase cards through the app since update, and customer service, normally phenomenal, can't tell me why. Reinstallations haven't helped. UGGGGH UPDATE: I would now recommend Raise again as they've restored functionality so I can buy and use cards - yay! I will be up to 5 stars when I can copy and paste card numbers again instead of having to manually enter them when using online...thanks! MUCH better UPDATE 8/17 Copy and paste restored, using and loving app once again, with BONUS 1% when I access Raise through Ebates...so many wins :D
Complete scam, buyer beware! I purchased over $2000 worth of gift cards from this shady outfit only to find out that 12 of the cards I purchased carried a ZERO balance! After the embarrassment at the stores and restaurants ("Sorry, Sir, there is nothing on your card"), I was given vague and ambiguous answers by customer service as to why this could have happened. Save your money, the hassle and, above all, the embarrassment. Run from this company, don't walk.
The older version worked. There are defects with the payment processing step right after payment method selection that will not allow users to complete the transaction. Many other reviews note this. It failed for me on 2 credit cards and Android Pay. Please listen to your reviewers. This is not user error it is a show-stopping defect. Roll back to the older version. I had to use the mobile browser. This app is useless if I cannot 1) see my gift card info to use it and 2) actually make a purchase
App used to be good, but w recent updates, there seems to always be communication errors making it impossible to check out after selecting a card. I might be forgiving after this happening once or twice, but when it keeps doing this, I won't keep using this app or merchant. I was only buying bc of the gift card savings.
The new app version is still terrible for keeping track of gift cards you already bought. In the old version it was called wallet and it was great. It has been months and it still is terrible to deal with. The ballance you put in doesn't show up on the list sometimes. Or it shows up on the next card. When searching it jumps back to the beginning for no reason. Some cards don't even come up like TGI Fridays but cards where u can only use the original plastic card comes up. I think the app has gotten worse in the last month or two. This is so bad I hate it. Could you guys at least put the old versions wallet function back as maybe a different app? I'm not buying as many cards as i used to and this is the reason. You got me accustomed to organizing them with your app instead of printing them out then you ruin it. Come on! you had more than enough time to fix this. Fire the lead engineers and hire someone competent or give us the old app back. PLEASE!!!!!!!!! PRETTY PLEASE!!!!!!
The app worked great before the latest version was installed. I have been member for nearly two years. I am a general contractor and I use this app to save over 200 each month It has been three months now since the app has not been working. They obviously know the app is not working because over the last two months they continue to get negative feedback
Utterly useless... loaded nicely, looked sharp, took 3 times to load credit card into system & then b/w the 2 fully functional cards I have, this app as well as the website both repeatedly failed after dozens of attempts to make any purchases.
Doesn't have the same features as the desktop site. I can't set alerts, see sale items, or use certain promo codes. The mobile version is also almost as useless.
***new review.....Whoa! Major difference, old version was MUCH better!!! End new review****Thanks so much for the constant updates!!! Will keep business, you actually listen!!!! No issues! Now if brand alerts can be managed from the app, that would be tremendous.
Raise please send an email stating security upgrades. Add upgrade prompts to the log in. The update was glitching all because I had not updated my profile, certified phone numbers and emails, etc. Communication could eliminate confusion and complaints.
It's keep crashing every time I tried to login. I used this app very often but now...it's just not working. fix it
The old version was better. You can't even purchase a card any more. And contacting customer service isn't any help at all.

Surprise! Latest update kills Samsung Pay AGAIN! It's there but you can't use it. Samsung says it's not an authorized vendor and won't let you use Samsung Pay with Raise. These latest updates have been made this app go downhill straight to Hell.
Watch out for Rip Offs! They sold me some whole foods cards. Turned out whole foods stopped accepting them. They did not reach out to us. They waited for us to call them and then said it was too late. And having to be on hold for 30 min.
App seemed great until the new update. I always get a bit hesitant when an app makes me create an account before I can ever check it out first. And now you require linking your phone number to make an account? The only reason I can imagine a gift card app would be asking for your phone number is to sell it off to another company. Definitely the reason I uninstalled. Looking forward to a better update that has reasonable requirements.
This company has gone downhill fast. They tried to add Samsung and Android pay, but it never works. Only way to make a purchase is to use my laptop. Next issue... They used to process a card purchase within seconds, but now it takes almost an hour to get the cards I try to buy. I'm about done with Raise for good.

I love Raise but I hate the newest version of the app. I have needed a card from my wallet a few times at stores since the update and the app would not let me access it saying network was unavailable or something along those lines even though I was online. Very aggravating. Overall I love the company, but I cannot give more than 3 starts until the app is fixed.
