Railcard

Exactly what I've wanted for so long, and you can't add an existing card! Beyond pointless. For when I can actually use it, it ought to link to the trainline app so you don't have to switch apps to show the conductor. Please add existing card functionality, I live in constant fear of forgetting my railcard!

Why launch digital separately to physical? Surely I should be able to type in my existing Railcard's number to just add a digital copy of it as well without having to give up the physical card. They have a photo of it on the card to prevent improper use by multiple people. But oh no, one or the other. So close, but yet so far.

This is a very strange app. I bought and downloaded the card, and it shows that it is valid until 03 September 2018 and it has expired. I don't think I will be able to use it, and I don't want to pay another £30 for a paper one.

I forgot my railcard and then found there is an app where I can store my card on my phone. Great except it only works when you purchase a card. If you already have one them you can't get a code to use the app? My credit cards i can store but my senior railcard I can't. Don't bother to download this app.

Easy to use and link to account. Loads quickly.******COMPANY needs to inform its rail staff about this app. Almost kicked off twice in a week because the attendant thought this was fake! Circulate a memo this is ridiculous!!!

Lovely. Simple to use. Can only be used if you are buying new or renewing railcards though. The guards don't know about this just yet so would be good to create awareness

Totally pointless app for most people. Only useful for 16-25 railcard as no other types are available digitally. Cannot add any preexisting railcard to it.

What I've been asking for since forever. The only downside is that the railcard is held in a different app from m-tickets, meaning you have to switch apps quickly while the conductor is there.

Despite writing an email to the authors, my railcard has been shown as expired within this app for two weeks now despite it being brand new - I am unable to travel. Avoid until this is fixed.

Useless for anyone who already has a railcard. Don't download unless buying one new

Totally useless and discriminatory. Why aren't Disabled cards on it yet? And I've also been told you can't even add an existing card. Surely that's the whole point!! As someone with limited mobility this would be amazing. I cannot run back home easily like someone else who forgets their RC. How this has been released whilst being so useless, unfit for purpose, unfair and discriminatory is remarkable.

I just bought a new Network Rail Card and the app shows it as expired! The expiry date is Sept 2018!! I Very bad

Can't add existing Railcard's onto the app. I've been told it's not designed too, so you can't have a physical and a digital card. Limiting customer options, turning a innovative idea (which our railways need more of) into a sloppy mess and generally just money grabbing! It's obvious that they don't want you to have 2 copies of your Railcard so you have to buy another ticket if you forget to bring your physical one! You can add a debit card to your phone and still use your plastic one, why not with a railcard! Deutsche Bahn (Germany's Railway) allows you to have a physical and digital "Bahncard" (Railcard), why can't we!

Solid app. Simplicity is the key. I also like how the brightness goes full for showing the railcard.

Cannot add an existing physical card to the app. It seems you have to specifically buy a digital railcard to use it.

Wanted to buy a railcard to use on the same day, so I thought I would give the app a try. Downloaded it and followed the instructions IN THE APP to buy a card. As it turns out, it automatically ordered me a plastic one! What the hell Railcard, why would you do that. Tried to call their costumer service which was similarly unhelpful. I ended up paying the full price and deleting the app.

Unlike many others my railcard seems to have loaded up easily, and doesn't show as expired. So that's good. BUT I cannot work out why the picture that I provided isn't loading up, I've still got the stock sample picture. I am worried that the guard is going to say the app isn't acceptable because he/she has no way of knowing if we are the people we say we are. What is the point of asking us for a photo if it won't show on the app? And I agree it's bloody annoying to have to choose between digital and paper. Especially if your app is still pretty lame.
