Finds any nearby beacon with real-time distance estimates.
Features:
* See any beacon, even if you don't know its identifiers
* Now detects and decodes Eddystone beacons

This app requires a device with Bluetooth Low Energy (aka Bluetooth 4.0). For beacon transmission, it requires Android 5.0 and a device with Bluetooth 4.1 (E.g. a Nexus 6 or a Nexus 9)

The most promising (Absoooo-LUTely dynooo-MIIIITE!! ) mobile device--TO--location based communication sensors. To send your custom experiential marketing content to any smartphone wielding Joe shmoes within range! It's very feature incomplete and not very useful. I like the idea of universal beacon detection, but also wish it'd let you use proximity to any BLE device (and yes this is possible in a limited way)

Hi there I just brought the latest Samsung S7 phone and downloaded this APP 'Locate beacon" and this phone doesn't seem to be able to search Beacons signal around. Even i am standing next to the Beacons with my Samsung S7 phone. Is it the reason of Samsung S7 is using Android version 6.0.1 not Android version 5? Would like to seek for help on this item above. Thanks Patrick

I am trying to build this distance location into an app for zoning in a house. I have used the reference app so far, but supporting historical data and averaging is beyond my ability to understand the code.
