BLE Crash Resolver for Android
The app starts up automatically when you boot your phone, and monitors for crashes of Android's BluetoothService. It then clears the internal list of bluetooth addresses to make these crashes as rare as possible.
The open-source module powering this utility may be put into individual Bluetooth LE scanning apps to actually prevent these crashes from happening.
I've been getting the message as described, I open the app, I get the error whilst using my phone but nothing is logged. The crashes are frequent so I try flushing it but it tells be to turn off anything that uses bluetooth then turn on BT and closes. It doesn't tell me what would be using it so I'm stuck there. Even if I stopped any apps using it I would still be stuck because the phone is constantly trying to turn on BT but stops it automatically and tries again. App seems useless to me.
Does not work. I installed it and made sure it was running. I read in the reviews that for those people it worked for the BT had to crash several times before it worked...guess it has to do a learning process. So with it running I caused the BT Share crash multiple times. The thing is that when I check the app it still says 0 for the number of detected crashes. Guess its not able to detect them on my phone for some reason...my phone is a LG Optimus G Pro E980 US AT&T model and is rooted. Well you guys had a nice idea but its a no go for me.
The UI is basic but managed to run the application. Did it around 5 - 6 times, turning bluetooth on and off with restarting, unloading and reloading of another problematic app using the bluetooth. Don't know how, but eventually no more bluetooth crashing. Yeah!
Did not work for Samsung Galaxy S3 running Android 4.3 on T-Mobile. No effect. Perhaps due to Android security??? It did detect some crashes, but apparently was not able to clean the BLE log file.
It is hard to get this app to do what it is supposed to do. You have to quickly run it before Bluetooth crashes. I don't think that it manually starts up and does its thing automatically on my Galaxy Note 2. I had to enable Bluetooth, then start this app, and then quickly do a "Force Flush" before Bluetooth crashed. This was not easy, as the app would crash along with Bluetooth. It took me about 5-7 reboots before I was fast enough to pull it off. Once I finally did, my Bluetooth recovered nicely. This app isn't perfect, but its much better than having to do a factory reset.
While this app was able to detect the state of the Bluetooth service, it never saw any of the many Bluetooth Share crashes. Uninstalling.
I am getting "Unfortunately, Bluetooth Share has stopped." error message. Please try to Force Flush, if you understand.
I had just gotten new bluetooth headphones to make going to the gym easier, so I had some understandable dismay when bluetooth repeatedly crashed, even with devices its been paired to in excess of a year. Ran the app, it detected crashes, but the self recovery wasn't working itself, so I ran Force Flush and it was instantly resolved. May update if circumstances change, but for the time being, thank you.
Does not detect crashes.... Does not clear the Bluetooth cache... Does not automatically anything.
Jan 29 2017 - this program did not fix the problem on my Galaxy S3. It is possible that the problem on my phone is different than the bug this fixes. I uninstalled. No instability, just not a solution.
I just installed this after getting the blutooth error on my 2013 Moto X. My bluetooth had suddenly become completely unusable out of nowhere, I'm talking about 1-2 crashes PER SECOND. I couldn't do anything on my phone but close endless dialogs saying "unfortunately, blutooth share has stopped" over and over. After installing this app and turning blutooth back on, it immediately crashed again, but then I pulled the app open and selected "force flush" which so far has resolved the issue! Seems like this app is hit or miss for many, but I must be one of the lucky ones!
For me worked on the first attempt. I had Bluetooth stopped, I opened the app and then I activated Bluetooth and I started a connection to my car.
Not sure why Google left it to a third party to solve this problem, but I'm glad Radius stepped in with a solution.
Running an optimized CM12 build and its not doing anything at all
Does not work. I still get the error message that Bluetooth has stopped
Not only does it not work, the UI is frozen and it prevents my WiFi from connecting.
I am still getting the "Unfortunately, Bluetooth Share has Stopped" error message when I try to Force Flush. I have also tried adding the BluetoothCrashResolver code to my app with the same results. This does work on a Nexus 5 running Android 4.4.2

When I first installed the app, it didn't seem to work, even after switching BT off and rebooting a few times. The only screen makes mention of a menu and the "force flush" option but I don't see a menu? That said, at some point over the last few days BT seems to have stopped crashing.
My Bluetooth is finally working again. I've had this app installed for a few days. Not sure if it took the app that long to fix the issue or if it started working on it's own.
I've had constant "Bluetooth has stopped" messages on my LG Flex for days. I was ready to factory reset my phone but decided to give this a try. Bluetooth has worked perfectly since I installed it. I can't give it five stars because I'm frankly not even sure what it did or if it's just a coincidence, but it seems to work!
I was so happy and even bragging to my friends of how good this app works!!!!....and then it happened again!!!!
Doesn't work with LG G2. :(
I don't know how many times I need to try flushing but I've just tried about 15 times and my LG Flex Bluetooth is still crashing - I will give it more stars if it eventually starts working I'm now up to 21 crashes and have flushed, restarted...... AHHHH this is so frustrating!!!! I'm not angry with Radius because they have at least tried to resolve Google's BLATANT IGNORANCE to this issue - I HATE GOOGLE - I THINK I'll GO WITH an iPhone or Microsoft next time instead.

It did not work even after force flush several times
Installed on my LG G2 and it fixed my problem! Thank you to the developers.
Thank you so much for taking it into your own hands to fix this ridiculous problem, it's greatly apreciated
as per subject
Didn't work
It did detect and clean the stack, it was not after the 13th crash detected, but it did the job. No crashes for 2 months now. ... Will give 5 stars if worked immediately Samsung Galaxy Note II.
I'm running Android 4.3 on a Galaxy Note 2. After using my Bluetooth headset at a large tech conference, I began experiencing the Bluetooth share problem. Unfortunately, this tool does not fix it under my particular configuration, but I appreciate the attempt. Shame on Google & Samsung for not correcting this major issue. Perhaps it's time to setup a bot to fill their forums with this problem until it receives the appropriate level of attention.
Made BT usable again on my E980. BT was extremely glitchy on CM12.1. It's not perfect, but at least now my watch doesn't disconnect 100 times per day.
But it's detecting crashes but not preventing them

I had a problem connecting my pedometer to my phone via Bluetooth and this App resolved the issue.
Stops the error message, thats it. BT still crashes after a few songs on pandora. But the app doesn't even know BT stopped working. The only way BT will work is to constantly force close bluetooth share from the app settings.
Doesn't work with HTC one m7
The Bluetooth error message kept popping up which renders my LG phone unusable. Installed this app and let it run for 15 minutes and everything is back to normal. Great

Bluetooth crashes every 10 seconds. I tried the flush option, didn't do anything. The app still hasn't picked up a single crash. If you want to fix your Bluetooth look up how to manually delete your Bluetooth's list of devices. This app will most likely not help you. Worth a shot I guess.
