I am NOT kindly disposed to podcasting apps to begin with because I'm looking for a unified solution-an app that will play all my feeds (I dont even have that many). I got Radio Public for just one feed: The Daily. I dont jnow WHO IT IS who decided to give a feed from auch a prestigious organization to an app like this, but its the kind of thing that makes you think that someones either STUPID-or on the take. This app utterly fails to play just this one feed, no matter how I try to work with it, including uninstalling and re-installing.

I really like the quality and variety of this podcast editor. The ability to queue up is also better than most. The app is easy to use and I have tried many of them

Good

I like the concept and the layout of the app. I wish there was a way to "favorite" episodes of shows I like. I also think it'd be cool if there was more of a social element, like Spotify for music. So I could post playlists of podcasts I recommend, or have my favorite shows listed on my profile. And with that you could use that data to have features like "Users who listen to this show also like:" so you could discover new podcasts.

Good app. Just wish there was an auto download feature for podcast that I listen every day.

Hi, this is the woman you guys met on Amtrak. I love the app. I have a little of the buffering problem that I had with NPR One, but not as bad and your app picks up where it left off, thank god. I do miss being able to set an automatic shut off because when I listen at bedtime with my earphones I get awakened in the middle of the night. So glad you have some shows hosted by my friend David Brancaccio. The Esquire show is terrific. Love the curation. Keep up the good work and good luck!

When listening to an episode, especially one curated by you, it would be great to know the original broadcast date.

S70%
by S####:

Curation works best when the user understands what content is actually available and why the curated options are helpful. I am frustrated that I can't access and choose from a list of all available podcasts. The average listener doesn't know which public radio podcasts are distributed by whom, therefore, it would be really helpful to know which podcasts are included in this app vs my searching for public radio podcasts that exist, but are not distributed by you.

Good to listen to. Also talking about interesting discussion, I think about on a regular basis .

Offers option to import an OPML file but doesn't let you browse the file system except for downloads folder. And even when you can browse to an OPML file either through OneDrive or downloads folder, the OPML file is not selectable.

S70%
by S####:

First it offers to import podcasts from another app. Then it moves on to another screen - very crude design. Coders obviously do not know real design. Only ten podcasts in "tech" search. How are you going to include the tens of thousands in this category? Users will think you are paid for list inclusion.

I'm not a regular podcast listener, but I hope radiopublic can help change that. I just got my first recommendations from the podcast librarian for some Russian lit-related goodies!

S70%
by S####:

I like the suggestions and curated podcasts. It was easy and convenient to search for podcasts by subject. The loading of the podcast show pages needs improvement. Once I figured out the site and how everything worked it great.

S70%
by S####:

The app is glitchy, sometimes won't play regardless of how many times I press play unless I go direct to the podcast... WHEN IT WORKS it's brilliant, a category shifter in the way I even think of podcasting. 5 stars because it's getting better and it's totally the way to do podcasting. I could write a heap of suggestions of things I'd like to see improved and i get the feeling Radio public are listening.

As a podcast newbie after recommendation from a friend, found RP really easy to find and listen to informative and educational programs. I didn't realize the depth of what's available in the podcast world. Program suggestions are helpful. Thanks.

As a novice to podcasting, this app helps me to find podcasts easily with some great suggestions. It was easy to add CBS This Morning to my own personal list. Enjoy being able to see new episodes from shows I now follow. Nice to have them all in one app.

X70%

Great app, makes it easier than any other app to find new podcasts.

S70%

Despite several updates this app constantly crashes within a few seconds of opening. It's a shame as it looks like it could be a really good app!

S70%
by S####:

Can't use the app more than 5 seconds before it crashes.

Can add podcast now with URL. Splendid Table showing up in my list. Should be able to opt out of suggested shows or filter them. I don't want to listen to a podcast about sex talk...

J70%
by J####:

I'd love this to work but it just keeps crashing, sorry.

V70%
by V####:

Won't run for more than 10 seconds without crashing.

Looking very nice, but no favorite support or searching within podcast channels. Please add these. Also, I could not find the "sleep" timer. A little too simplistic, maybe? I see, the team is very proactive in working with the users! Fantastic! Keep it up!

The playlists are top notch. I've discovered so many new and interesting podcasts.
