There should be an exit or quit option in the app. Please note that multiple reviews say the same thing. When I'm done using the app I don't want it popping up constantly on my notification bar. If the idea behind this "feature" was to encourage more use of the app, it has had the opposite effect as evidenced by other reviewers who have uninstalled it as a result of not being being to exit it.

Love listening to my home town radio station even though I Don't live there anymore. Thanks, 'XRT. And thanks for fixing it so that I can turn it off without rebooting my phone.

I like the app, but it's annoying I have to force stop the app in the settings menu just to clear it off the notifications bar. I enjoyed the app and closed it out before leaving home. When I get to work, it shows up again in my notification bar with no way to close it unless you force stop it.

The streaming works quite nice until you stop it and it wont play anymore. I have to close the app and restart it everytime i stop a radio station its annoying

Allow me to actually close the app and not just minimize it if you want 5 stars. It works ok but will randomly stop for no apparent reason when running in the background. I simply have to return to the app and press play when it does, annoying but not deal breaker.

App constantly stays in your alert list when not used and drains your battery. It frequently stops connecting when used. No sound normalcy from song to song. Uninstalled and I strongly urge a different solution for anyone looking.

The app is decent for listening to the radio when on the go, however, the website version is terrible, it would get a negative rating if it was possible. The website constantly attempts to load. No, it's not my connection, attempted from multiple devices and locations/connections, I can go to the website version of iHeartRadio and it plays instantly. Work on improving thr website so I can listen while I'm at work.

Stops playing my stations randomly whether I'm connected to wifi or using cellular data. This never happened with previous version l, started happening with new update.

I like the app overall but after I open it there is no direct way to close it. And when I do get it 'closed' it will randomly open back up. Please fix this and add an option to close or quit the app.

It would be nice if the feed didn't cut out after 5 seconds! Very frustrating

Too MANY bugs, even more in the newest app update.. music won't stop after I close the app, the app won't let me play podcasts etc.

There is no way to Quit the app except Force Stop. It keeps sucking up memory and data until you do.

Stupid One Thing commercials have been running in a loop since the beginning of January, I mean I get it we all want a cleaner planet bu five One Thing commercials in a row when ever my stations are on commercial is just ridiculous, almost makes me want to do the opposite and buy nothing but bottled water and paper towels.

Just downloaded cuz it had a good station but it keeps disconnecting for even a half second but that's very annoying. Fix that and I'll love this app. Thanks

Meh. Good for listening to the radio but does not close when you exit app... keeps coming back to notification until you force close the app... very annoying.

This app constantly reappears in the notification area... Shut the app down... Clear recent apps... Within a few minutes it's back in the notification area... Sent a few queries through the app to try to figure this out... No response. This is unacceptable. Still continuing to constantly find the app popping up in the notification area.. Repeated queries for help via the app's help section go unanswered...unacceptable

I hate to say this but, this App sucks. There is always a connection failed error . I can be streaming from my wireless network or WI-FI I still get connection failed. It will play for a little while then stop.

Too much repetition, feed cuts out intermittently. Good idea, Just go deeper with the playlist.

I used this app and loved it. Now there had been an update put out and can not listen at all. Station will not load

How do you STOP or EXIT? Have to Force Close, just want an off option, and for it to stay off until I want to turn it back on.

on samsung phone and an email comes in, it starts the app, even in the middle of a phone conversation, and can't be stopped withoyt restarting phone. It sucks!

It is not obvious how to exit this app without going to the app manager. I'm not even sure if it's possible from inside the app.

Connects, then disconnects, then connects, then disconnects. Across multiple devices (Pixel2 XL, Note 5 and S6) and connections.

All too often, it just cuts out...and keeps cutting out until I just turn it off. And it's not my connection either, it's the app. So annoying!

Uninstalled.... it needs a lots of fixing... it doesn't let you choose if you want weather traffic or news it just plays but you can't choose
