This app would be great if it was pay as you go but it isn't. You have to 1st put at least 25$ on the app. It also makes you agree to keep at least a 10$ minimum. So they will auto charge you once you hit 10$ for another 25$. I don't think this is practical for most users. I don't want my money tied up with an app i won't be using that often. Plus, the small print also states they can adjust the auto pay amount at their discretion depending on the usage of the app. Again, who wants their money tied up?

My town just replaced their previous electronic meters with these new ones. I have no idea why. The meters are far more complicated to use. The number of steps required to pay for parking is comical. The app is just as bad. You can't use it unless you know what lot you are in. You can try to find it on the map or It has a scan function so you can walk over to the meter to scan a bar code so it knows what lot you are in. If I have to walk over to the meter the app just lost most of it's value.

Terrible, clumsy interface. High balance, convenience charge per transaction. The worst.

Sub-par app. It would be helpful to be able to choose the amount that I want to refill and not have at a minimum 25 dollars. That's just absurd. What if I just need to park there for a few days only? Not to mention the ridiculous fee of 30 cents charged every time I use the danged app. You're better off visiting the parking kiosk, instead. That way you're only paying the ridiculous 5 dollar fee to park only. From me just one star. If you enhance it to be more user friendly I'll reconsider reusing it.

Meters weren't working, so I had to use this. Took me 15 minutes to set up, mainly because the "add credit card" screen didn't give me an option to agree to the insulting user agreement that I would allow them to charge me still more money for the "privilege" of using this piece of garbage. Transaction fees, minimum balance, nearly impossible to add a card successfully? Fails in every way. Makes me want to avoid using it at all costs.

Make sure you don't mind writing a letter if you want to cancel this. And pay them $2.50 to do it. Minimum balance until you get around to writing the letter, and they charge automatically. So if you're only using once, don't, it's more convenient not to use it at all. Just make sure you read the fine print.

Seldom have I had the urge to hurl my phone at the nearest parking meter. Thanks to the anemic brainpower behind this horrific app, I get a shot of adrenaline every time I attempt (yes, *attempt*, this POS has not worked ONCE) to pay for parking on my phone. Long since uninstalled. There is a market opportunity here, with a ridiculously low barrier to entry.

by Z####:

UI is clumsy and not intuitive. What is worse is that you must preload the account instead of paying as you go. On top of that, even when you pay 25 cents for parking time, mPark charges a 30 cent per transaction. Outrageous! At this rate, 55% of my $25 upfront deposit will go to mPay in fees.

C70%
by C####:

App will not login if you have a password that contains non numeric characters, even though that password works on the mobile and Windows websites. Wtf is that about?

C70%
by C####:

Not only do you need to prepay for parking you haven't parked for, you also need to pay $2.50 to get rid of the app! Also after a period of time, despite having a balance north of $15.00, it will auto recharge your account $25.00 at a clip. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!

Well um, I may give this app a better rating of it worked properly, which it doesn't. Far and away one of the worst apps I have ever used.

Z70%
by Z####:

Literally. Can you work? You used to, are you on strike or something? Currently in Asbury Park, NJ and walked back to a meter to pay. It's cold. That's all.

Y70%
by Y####:

Crashes whenever I try to sign in. High minimum payment fee, and in the reviews, I see that there is a cancellation fee.

C70%
by C####:

It isn't seamless, but keep at it, eventually it will work properly. Min balance is $25 but you can have multiple vehicles registered if you ever use a rental because your car is in the shop ☺. Limits as to what you can do are determined by your parking zone (i.e. mine doesn't offer monthly passes)

C70%
by C####:

It would be nice if this app could let you know which spaces are open. The way it is now you have to drive around to find an open space and then input the parking space info. 3 stars for nit letting you know which spaces are currently open.

Requires adding a minimum of $25 to a wallet to pay for parking unlike every other electronic parking payment app.

Stopped working today, says connection time out

K70%

Not only do they want $25 minimum, but even when I tried setting it up it would not take my card, something wrong with the data while creating a wallet. BS. Terrible app.

Error!!!

C70%

The app requires access to my location, contacts, browser history and more. WTF?! No clear reason for needing any of that.

Q70%
by Q####:

Way to keep the money, guys! This is a parking meter app that requires you to pay at least $25 into a rolling account even if you only need it for one trip. I'd rather patronize a local business to get change, even though that comes with its own set of challenges.

Z70%
by Z####:

Great idea but the way they implemented it is simply an insult to the user. The user interface of the app is inconsistent confusing and often requires you to reenter your information. And I use the daily parking occasionally at my station and the fact that they require a $25 minimum is absurd. I would happily use it if it actually worked well but I will just walk up to the kiosk. Sadly that is easier.

M70%
by M####:

Keeping a $25 balance is completely absolutely absurd. Just charge what is required, this makes the app completely useless for infrequent visitors or those on vacation and overall feels like a scam to keep unused parking fees. Will not use or recommend to visitors until this is changed.
