What are users saying about grammly (English grammar)

P70%
by P####:

There's loads of ads which is very annoying. Good to learn basics.

N70%
by N####:

Uninstalling. Was interested in the lessons but when I clicked on it, nothing happened from my Samsung 4 Note.

F70%
by F####:

What it is is an app where you have to open it and do lessons on English grammar. That is not what I thought it was. I got this app because in the commercial it was explicitly advertised to edit your grammar while you're writing it for free. For a grammar lesson app it might be good, I honestly don't know.

N70%
by N####:

Peeps! If you're trying to get the correct as you go app from the slick commercial, you’re looking for GRAMMARLY. This app is GRAMMLY. For Grammarly, you have to go to their website.

N70%
by N####:

It looked like an auto correcting application, it's just an English text book... False advertising with tons of ads that slows down the application.

E70%
by E####:

i think it good and every one wait to get are A on the text ilove grammly so much and it veryuseful grammly is the best and the way the teaher as is the more we learn and the more they help as to sepl the word in english i love grammly is the best.

N70%
by N####:

It's rubbish ..It's not like what u display in its advertisement ... It's not a spell check or something ..Just hated it ..Doesn't deserve a 1 star even

N70%
by N####:

The information contained within this app can be found online. It should have the ability to check the completed work.

N70%
by N####:

I will never know how good this app is if it had not forced, and pointed to ads that have nothing to do with the product itself.

G70%
by G####:

Complete bullshit nothing like what's advertised on TV but that's the PC I understand but a lite version for the phone would of been the most amazing thing ever for a dyslexic person such as myself

N70%
by N####:

Won't let me write anything down how is it supposed to correct me if it won't let me write

N70%
by N####:

I can't do anything because it takes 10 minutes to load

G70%
by G####:

This app is no use to someone studying English at under graduate level or higher. Would suit GCSE student.

N70%
by N####:

Great for revisions? How so doesn't tell me when I wrong so how does that help. This is just a 7th grade grammar book which was no help then or now to me.

N70%
by N####:

Not only is it nothing like the ad but I'm sick to my teeth with those stupid ads.

N70%
by N####:

This is nothing like the ads for it. I was expecting a spell check type of thing. The ad makes it look like it shows you where you are going with with word choices, grammar etc. It is a total waste of downloaded space. If it ever works like how the ads describe it i will revise my review

N70%
by N####:

Seriously though this app doesn't even kind of do what the ads imply. It is a cool resource for learning about grammar but I was hoping it would actually help correct errors. It doesn't do that. How are your ads not false advertising? I look forward to the day you app works like your sales pitch! Very disappointed..

N70%
by N####:

First of all, I like very much the way it's compacted the whole information. You can find all the information you need at every section. I didn't give it 5 because sometimes the app it's slowly although my phone is on the top, so I think it is not it fault. Good job anyway! :)

N70%
by N####:

If you're looking for the app that fixes your grammar mistakes it is a browser extension called Grammarly this is called grammly. Grammarly is not available in the app store. The app you're looking for is only available on computers not on any mobile devices, so your reviews are incorrect.

N70%
by N####:

I think the app is good for what it is, however, I feel as if there are far too many ads for the simplicity of the app itself. I'm still new to the app, and was unable to find out the correct time to use "whom" over "who." Lastly, it would just be a personal thing, I would have enjoyed this a lot more if it included fallacies. I had taken a couple of English courses where fallacies have been brought up, and is something I would like to review more often.

T70%
by T####:

I love the app but..Shouldn't the app include punctuation? What about speline? (I know it's spelled spelling but anyway) and what about the use of words such as anyway and anyWAYS?? And shouldnt there be something that includes testing on the use of words and punctuation? > I don't see how this new version is user friendly... more adds less corrective lessons seems like to me...

D70%
by D####:

Did all you complainers see the ad for Grammarly and downloaded Grammly by mistake? Did you rush to the Playstore and search for Grammarly only to find Grammly, and without even taking the time to read properly, install it? Do a Google search for "Grammarly" (see the extra 2 letters in there? The A and the R). I installed the app only to write this review. I'm not even going to bother opening it. You're all probably giving this app a low rating without even knowing that you're rating the wrong thing.

N70%
by N####:

After watching the glossy ads, thought of checking how useful would it be. But it is not great app for students. Eg. Same info exists for both 'Will' & 'Would'(modals). "Would" has description and examples of having 'Will'.

N70%
by N####:

Pay attention to the title. This is not the same program advertised on TV, so of course it doesn't do what the commercials advertise. That is Grammarly, not grammly, and it is only for desktops. At least, Grammarly doesn't run on my tablet (free version). Haven't checked phone compatability yet. But this is not the same program. Play on words, is all.

E70%
by E####:

Some of you guys are looking at and rating wrong app (even jason davidson knows) your looking for Grammarly NOT *Grammly* I cant even find grammarly

N70%
by N####:

And moreover if you see in the YouTube ad it shows it corrects your grammar errors better thank Microsoft Word so waste of time

X70%
by X####:

love this app great information and simply put. Only negative is the adds they are ridiculous and useless

J70%
by J####:

Good information but full page ads, way too many of them, render it frustrating to use

R70%
by R####:

The ads show that it correct your errors. But accurately the app have no place to let you input anything.

U70%
by U####:

I was thinking that this would include a check for punctuation and spelling with this app, but just reading through an organized list of lessons isn't so bad, I guess. Already downloaded it, so I might as well use for what it offers sense I feel it would be better to actually know my grammer anyway...

H70%
by H####:

There is so many adds and I can't get into the lessons I am very annoyed by this please fix.

S70%

4 ★ because of the following: • no direct link for support • ‘share’ feature does not include social links except for g+. I'm a writer. I use FB, etc., to communicate with other writers who might be interested in this app. Can't share directly with them.

T70%
by T####:

Okay, so it would be a great help if you could actually type something and it would tell you all the mistakes that are in your sentence, paragraph,(anything you wrote) if you would add that as an update, I'll rate 5 stars :)

T70%
by T####:

One of my favorite apps. Easy, quick, and invaluable at presenting an eloquent mien.

Q70%
by Q####:

It might be a good ap but every time I click on something I'm hit with an ad. I'm trying to find the "lessons" that's listed in the menu but instead of a lesson it just tells me about the different types of nouns. I'll give it one more shot but I feel pretty confident that I won't be changing our deleting this.

T70%
by T####:

Uninstalling. Was interested in the lessons but when I clicked on it, nothing happened from my Samsung 4 Note.

T70%

There are test's i n this app you cannot practise the lesson's pls make it a point to put that in the next update

M70%
by M####:

There is so many adds and I can't get into the lessons I am very annoyed by this please fix.

T70%
by T####:

Worst app ever!!! It Does Not correct your grammer in different Apps ie. Facebook. It just tells you what nouns, verbs and other details about grammar are.

S70%
by S####:

Clear and simply organised. One mistake found in 'Modal' section, Will and Would have written same things. Please correct the mistake.
