When the interval is over and you have to switch from running to walking or vice versa the phone will give a simple PING sound.
I did not find a simple intervall running app for my beloved wife without being harassed by ads, paid content, social media stuff, logins, etc...
So I did it myself, and the rest of the world can also use it. Completely free, ads free and without any nitty-gritty stuff. This app is as is and supposed to do what it actually does. Not more, not less.

App stops working after a few miles. I try to reset it while running which is tough. When I do reset it, it starts dinging every 30 seconds even though its set for 2 minutes. I would find a better app than this.

Didn't work at all. Timer would reset every few seconds and chime would go off randomly. Don't waste your time.

Does exactly what it says on the packet. Big win for me is the alert sound is loud enough to be heard over music without being obnoxious. Great app.

I've used this twice and the timer seems to stop making sounds after 4 miles. Or it beeps at other times. Had to stop and start again on my 7 mile run.???

Wow, this is the simplest and most straightforward run/walk interval timer. It will keep going until you stop it yourself. Thanks for doing so simply what other apps make so complicated. There is a simple bell sound triggering each run or walk session. Will work when screen is locked, and while Fitbit is running.

I am working back into jogging. Had this set at 4 min walk, 1 min run. App stopped working after 3 dings so wasn't helpful to me.
