About File Peon
File Peon has one goal, and one goal only: to be a no frills, barebone file manager.
A lot of the file manager apps are great, but they are hefty. Do we really need 5MB+ of our flash space on something so simple as a file manager? Some of them are indeed great, but on other occasions, maybe you just want something simple. I mean REALLY simple. All you want to do is browse your SD card and open a file, or even just check to see the path of a file or or if it exists. For uses like that, other file manager just seem....cluttered. Hence: File Peon.
File Peon ("Peon" being a play on "Manager", in that it is very tiny and barebone) was born from frustration of other File Managers taking up too much space on a phone that was already limited on flash memory. Simple as that.
File Peon is NOT aimed at being as feature filled as the others: it's aimed at being extremely lightweight and extremely fast. (The first version of File Peon clocked in at a mere 32KB of flash space!) Compared to my other apps (which I highly recommend that you check out, by the way), File Peon has an extremely low priority.
That being said, you can feel free to help me develop it on its Github page by filing an issue or contributing to the code.

File Peon is released as an open source app under the WTFPL.
