RASCI app is a revolution in the field of conducting assessments. It assesses candidates in the retail sector who have been trained as per the NOS laid down by the Retailer's Association Skill Council of India. As mandated by the government, the app comprises of an assessment in the form of multiple choice questions as well as role-plays. In multiple choice question format, candidates are asked to feed in correct responses from a list of options given to them. In the role-play section, candidates are presented with unique questions, based on real life scenarios. Based on the questions, the candidate is required to give detailed answers, as per some unique criteria laid down by NOS. The app has the unique ability of storing all the video and audio responses at the back-end for the examiner to be viewed during scoring. The test also ensures strict proctoring, as the candidate is under video surveillance throughout the assessment. As a technological medium, this app can help change the way assessments are carried out, reducing cost of travel and infrastructure by a huge amount.
