Tapatalk Pro - 100,000+ Forums

Overall, it's a great app for people that love forums. The latest updates changed the way we navigate throughout a given thread. Now it's a continuous page to scroll up and down but we can't enter a subscribed thread and use its title to go to its sub-forum. It limits the way we navigate from our favorite topics to their main forums.

Why did you change it so much? Made it just like the 'non-pro" version which is rubbish! Bring back quick reply and posts per page settings! If you're going to make so many changes in each update, at least make the app keep the same settings so we don't have to customise it every time it updates! ????????????

I NEVER review apps but this is the only app that I've seen get progressively worse throughout its time. I was on board fairly early and even paid for pro because at one point this was a good app. Now besides some subjective but questionable UI changes this app has found another way to frustrate me - it CONSTANTLY logs me out of forums. The whole point is to be logged in all the time. It's almost time to just abandon this broken mess.

The main feed is so screwed up that it's completely cluttered with suggestions and trending subjects, along with useless activity from random people that I've never followed or even interacted with. Basically one of the main features on an app that I paid for, is completely useless.

As everyone has said, the last update severely reduced the usability of this app. Customising forum view types is now gone and the interface is the most convoluted it's ever been. Hard to believe intelligent people had real life meetings and agreed to develop this.

This has been my go to app for the longest time but after every update they make it slightly worse than what it originally was, they forgot the original intentions of the app which was simplicity in finding and posting on forums. Simple screen, simple notifications, make it intuitive and easy to use. This latest update is a disaster and is a perfect example of breaking something that was already fixed.

Web links in forums don't even come close to working properly most of the time. I haven't used Tapatalk for over a year because of ridiculous stuff like this and at least the developers are consistent with breaking the app with updates like they have done with nearly every update in the last 8 years or so. So, kudos for that!!!

Ugh, latest UI update is terrible. Can't see new posts like old version. Not easy. FTLOG, stop messing with it. It was fine a few versions ago.

Update messed everything up. In a day it becomes slow and unresponsive, needs clearing cache to work again. Sometimes loses credentials on forums. Pictures in quotes are a plain mess, most of the time you can't see who quoted what. Have to use version 6.5.6 , which is of course not a bought Pro version. Tried reinstalling, clearing data, removing folder. I don't think I've encountered such a mess in any other app .

I was just getting used to the previous revision now this upgrade changed everything again. Not happy at all as I no longer have a quick reply option.

New update sucks. Can't view more than maybe 20 new posts and that's all it let's me see. Scrolling down to the bottom doesn't refresh the new posts

Latest update ruined it. Can't customize my tabs anymore. Tip pop ups are unnecessary and irritating. Please remove them permanently.

App has issues with cloudfront/aws. Please update app do I can access my forums.

Unfriendly with SwiftKey. No longer permits sorting in descending chronology. All of the this & forced graphics makes the new Tapatalk a nightmare on phones.

Latest update forced me back to the look & feel of non paid app which is why I paid for the pro version a long time ago. Bring back the look and feel I paid for.

Not able to set forum shortcut widgets. Galaxy S8+

The app is great I just think it's bogus that I have to pay for the pro version again after I bought the old version years ago...

Was working fine yesterday. Now with the latest update I can no longer find the option to view unread posts.

No longer allows me to customize what tabs I see for each forum.

Nice design, simple but effective

It's simply unacceptable, for all of us that bought your app years ago, to treat us like we don't exist and trying to force us to buy AGAIN the application. It's been a week and I can't connect to several of my forums, but with the new version, which costs 15 dollars to buy, everything is smooth and ok. That's no way to treat people that paid you money and are loyal for so many years

Here's the thing. This app is awesome. But it seems the devs are focusing more on the free one in terms of updates and features. :/ Why? For the ad revenues? I mean, we paid the very first time we used Tapatalk, and it seems the free one has a lot better support and features now. Isn't that a bummer? If I could give zero star, I would.

Every update brings more problems. I keep going back to 6.25 because later versions have huge margins on each side on tablets. My phone doesn't have large margins, but sometimes I want to see more per page and you can't do that on tablets anymore. Version 6.25 always brings you to the previous post in a thread, even when you follow a link to a specific post. Garbage.

It would be nice if I could just use the software. Have forgotten my password and tried to follow the prompts to change it. It keeps telling me an email has been sent, yet I never get one. Tried the support page on website with same results. What a waste of $3. Can't be very happy when such a problem can't be easily resolved.

I noticed something interesting today (28/4/2017). I got VigLink errors when tapping on any link via Tapatalk, which revealed that ALL our external traffic is BEING TRACKED! So not only is this app a €3.39 purchase, we're also paying with our privacy. Is this even legal? A quick lookup on Wikipedia taught me that VigLink is a "outbound-traffic monetization service". I understand this would be used in the free version but in a paid app? That's unethical to say the least. I want this to stop immediately! Edit 31/5: links still broken! Uninstalling.

Hey folks my tapatalk pro keeps telling me I do not have permission to reply in my Ecig forums, its been working great for a year, and its not only me other folks are having the same issue, could you fix this issue

Seems search doesn't work within the app to well. If your not a registered user of the site your trying to search, it will not return any results, please fix this issue.

The very thing i cannot do with this app is register with forums because the app and forum does not shack hands when inputting the captcha.

Every version worse than last - I don't want the different forums I use to be linked in a public profile.

Poor follow-up too previous version. Very laggy. Quicker to just use forum website directly than to use tapatalk.

App does not support IPS, so there are problems with forums using that engine. Please fix it and I will amend my rating.

It's easy to use but the team behind the app lacks ethics. Will no longer unsupported them.

Keeps asking for login every time I run the app. Really annoying!

Great app, intuitive and easy to navigate if you're active on forums. I should buy it long before this to support the development of this app.

There's a new bug in mark forum as read feature where the next forum in the list gets marked as read. This happens on xda. Please fix
