The Quist mobile app displays the LGBTQ and HIV/AIDS events of note that happened on that day. We're bringing gay history, lesbian history, bisexual history, transgender history, and HIV history to the world to a new way.
Some Quist events are related to the LGBT community’s contributions to society, some illustrate how gender fluidity and same-sex relationships were treated throughout time, and some honor the sacrifices of the LGBTQ people who have advanced the cause.
Each GLBT history event has a description and image along with links to more information, links to related YouTube videos, and links to related products (books, CDs, DVDs) on Amazon.com.
You can search and sort Quist events by keyword, country, U.S. state, month and day, or year.

Scrolling doesn't work sometimes. Ads are often launched in the browser as if I had clicked on them. Using the app is more frustrating than the content is interesting. Which says a lot, given how interesting the content is.

App is now working after 2nd e-mail to the Devs. Glad they got it back online. Probably should have somebody monitor it once a day. The app itself is a nice, quick way to learn some LGBTQ history. A good starting off point if you want to know more.

other than not being able to explore right now, I am liking what I am seeing. Interesting stories of things I lived through for some of them, and I didn't even realize it had happened. I would give a 4.5 stars, but it don't let me rate in half stars. This is only due to the explore feature currently not working.
