Rowing Performance

The Quiske Rowing Performance System consists of Rowing Performance application and a sensor that together can measure, analyze and provide real time feedback on your rowing technique, so that you can become a better rower. Our software automatically sniffs for rowing strokes and produces real time feedback on both boat specific metrics (boat acceleration and velocity) as well as rower specific metrics (oar and seat work of individual rowers).

The Rowing Performance application uses data not only from one external Quiske sensor (the sensor set is available at www.rowingperformance.com) but also from the phone (which needs to be rigidly attached to the boat). The data from both sources are combined and synchronized and run through our unique algorithm engine to produce simple feedback to help you improve as a rower with feedback provided after each stroke, right there while still on water.

Your phone should preferably be water proof since you need to rigidly attach it on the boat, somewhere close to the
foot stretcher where you can see the real time feedback from Rowing Performance application.

You can measure the speed of your seat, in this case you need to place the sensor on the your seat.
Our application provides the following real time graphs: Boat Acceleration, Boat Speed, Oar Blade flight path, Oar Performance, Seat Speed. Also we provide traditional metrics such as SPM, speed, distance and time. You can also see your oar arc angle in real time.
