Niño Sano es una aplicación diseñada para que profesionales de salud de Chile puedan utilizarla como referencia en la evaluación del desarrollo, requerimientos e indicación de volumen de leche . Está dividida en:

Requerimiento:

- Calcula requerimiento de energía en base a tablas OMS, según sexo y edad.
- Permite adecuar a 90, 100 o 110% de calorías.
- Según edad, sugiere el número de mamaderas al día y su volumen aproximado, descontando las calorías aportadas por un almuerzo y/o cena estándar cuando corresponda.

Leche:

- Permite ingresar el volumen deseado de leche, entregando la cantidades necesarias para prepararlas, en medidas, gr, mL y cucharaditas de Leche Purita Fortificada o Cereal, azúcar, aceite y/o cereal según corresponda.
- Según indicaciones dadas por el Ministerio de Salud de Chile.

Estado Nutricional:

- Incorpora las curvas OMS y su cálculo: peso/edad, talla-longitud/edad, peso/talla-longitud y circunferencia craneana/edad para hombres y mujeres hasta 5 años. Representación gráfica aproximada.

Desarrollo Psicomotor:

- Hitos, Estímulos y Banderas Rojas según edad, como referencia para educación a padres en base a recomendaciones del CDC (USA) y NHS (UK).
