It definitely connects and works to show all the cameras so great there. But, its like a slideshow with jumps of 10s of seconds, sometimes even minutes, between picture updates, that too over WLAN on an uncongested network(viewing via app connected to the same router as the dvr)! Live Viewing via app its confirmed to miss out on important events. Many a times the picture freezes completely and i have to reconnect again. I'd take any better working alternative over this, anyday!!
Seems like only the live view feature works for me. When I try play back it will say "searching" for about a minute and then it disappears and nothing else happens.
It crash imediatly after i hit xonnect. I think is need more Compability with latest version of android.
It was great when in use w/my HTC EVO 4G but I upgraded my phone to a LG G2 and can not get it to work at all, it is too bad as the app I am using now which is the one and only CCTV app I could actually get to work w/my new LG only allows me to view one camera at a time unlike this Q-SEE app that allows multiple camera views at the same time. I sure hope this gets fixed or someone that knows something that I do not shares the instructions as to how they got it to work on their LG G2. I am still giving it 5 stars just because I know how great this app is and that I am betting that the problem I am having will get resolved, I just hope it is before my next phone upgrade.
It crash the second i open.
POS kept crashing... Useless. On OnePlus One.
This app has not been updated in years and is not displaying properly on modern devices.
First, I wish it would work in landscape mode on my tablet...everytime I try, it cuts off the bottom menu buttons, so I can't to anything in the app... Also, I wish there was an alternative means for me to remotely access cameras - I don't have a Static IP, and thereby can't seem to setup access...
We all have bought your security systems ranging from $500 to $1500 can you at least put in the time to update the android app. Your iPhone app works flawlessly, but when it comes to android it's just embarrassing to see a company like yourself not update such an essential app for your consumer base. I cant see more than 4 cams even when I have 8 up and my other dvr has 8 too, I would love to see the other cams up too. The app also crashes in long periods of time. Please can you update this qsee app.
Oder on line four cam with the same spect andbdo not work on Q See need help intaling them online
Installed on my tablet, does not work. Not even on the home network. Can access dvr with browser, but not this app.
Seems like only the live view feature works for me. When I try play back it will say "searching" for about a minute and then it disappears and nothing else happens.
Would be great if it worked with a QSDR8V8RTC. Im using A See and that works great but no PTZ controls.
The playback keeps messing up.
Verry easy to use

Needs to be updated for better compatibility with Android 5.0....still works after update, but not all prev freatures work now
Samsung Galaxy Centura, works great on wifi , can not get it to work otherwise
The app used to work without flaws but now it just says: information: video closed.
It use to work great but now it just terrible
Will not run for 24 hours without crashing at least once. Not good if you want to use this to monitor your property. 24/7.

For those who have sudden force close issues, try rebooting your dvr. Worked for me. Other than that this app needs an update and needs to give error messages rather than force closing.
This application simply is not working. What's wrong with you. My house must be monitored all time. You know this update is not working and still you haven't done anything.
Great app. Very easy to setup and use
Not working, downloaded app today and put all info from dvr. When I click on it to trt to view camera's the whole app closes on me..
Love it
amazing
Bon jour
Please fix the problem. Thank you
stupid
It started to work perfectly fine but like after the 3rd month it stopped working. I tried uninstalling it but it still won't work. ★. Please fix this problem.
I recently brought a Q-See QS558 DVR and camera bundle. I followed the instruction on how to remote view the cameras and got it to work on the PC. Once that was complete I downloaded the Q-See QS app and configured the app to my DVR specs. Everything works pretty well, I did however noted that the zooming gets a little pixalated as compared to other camera viewers. If you have not configured remote viewing on the PC side it is likely that this app or any other camera viewing app will work. Once remote viewing is correctly configured you should have no problems using the app. Overall apps works well and the fact that you can change settings on the fly is a good feature to have.
Much better than previous attempts. It is about time. The DVR's are getting better little by little. Playback force closes, please fix that and you might have a chance.
This app was easy to setup to view cameras but it force closes on playback of DVR. If fixed, I will rate it a 5.
This app worked great for about 2 months then suddenly playback forces app to close. Redownloaded app with the same result. Can still view liveview but playback option doesnt work anymore. Please fix.
This is the old app. IPhone has an update that works great. Maybe Google needs to update there's.
Mostly for decoration. Most of the time it's: VIDEO CLOSED. Support is useless or non-existent. Gag.
I have had my 8 channel QSEE (QS) for over a year now and it works great. Anytime anywhere I can log in and see all 8 cameras. Some of the other reviews complain that it only works on 4 channels need to go into the settings and change from 4 to 8 or 16 channel in order to view all cameras

Works on my home network. Away from home it will work but then the bandwidth at home is seriously lagging. Would be great to see them getting this working on Android TV boxes.
