Qvideo for Android
Googlecast + SUBTITLES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
App is great for videos that work but most say audio format not supported. No transcoding or anything just playing the file in original format. Can play the files externally in another app fine. If you can fix this I'll give 5 stars
The new update added movie and TV databases making the app much better! I love the new option to play 360° videos. Excellent app now
Mejor usar Plex para retransmitir usando el NAS como servidor, si es de baja potencia asegurarse que los archivos están en formato que no necesite transcodificar.
audio format not supported. qnap please sort the licencing issues it makes the devices just a storage box if you cant actually play what it stores
Supports chromecast but subtitles are not available while casting.
Niet leuk
Please support smi subtitle file..
Nice
Online subtitles do not show on my s7 edge, pls fix it. iOS version works fine though.
Need ability to show a folder structure
Lags behind the Synology version big time. People I know would like to use this app, but don't due to the lack of updates.
It just show all videos in a single place, bad for when you have lots of series episodes. You can search for a specific video at least. Movies dont have the poster like when using the web browser version
Always says audio format not supported. Try to download videos from NAS to use with vlc but says download folder quota exceeded. Can't change folder to my SD card with over 100 gig free.
Not supported audio format from MKV files.
Shows videos that have been deleted. The default player you cannot fast forward or rewind & the progress bar of the video is always zero
Rotating even when rotation disabled.
Compared to the synology video app Qnap one is the worst. Needs updating asap
Got a crash issue with my Zenphone and it's fixed with latest version. thanks for the good work!
I can't playing video..always show "unfortunately Qvideo has stopped"...
Abysmal video streaming app, its the worst compared to Synology's DS-Video which I've been using flawlessly over the years and also compared with Plex. I've just heavily invested (over a grand sterling) in a QNAP for a bit of a change and I can honestly say that QNAP has nothing on Synology when it comes to app development. All they ever do is focus on hardware, but what good is hardware if the software that you are trying to run doesn't work? f****** terrible!
As stated, not really sure why, but after looking through many stored recordings, it just locks up. Have to force reboot.
This is a very poor attempt at copying the Synology app. Quality of product is clearly not a priority for QNAP.
No way to navigate folders. Super Slow. 100% Useless.
On a Samsung Galaxy S6 running 6.0.1 app keeps crashing & saying closed unexpectedly. Still work to do but getting there, albeit slowly...
QNAP app fails out of blue continually with "stopped working" even whe not used. I cannot find categorization like pc for home videos vs movies. The support from qnap is horrendous, they never answer chat and email tickets are over 2-3 days before meaningless reply to buy time or make you go away.
Installed on my phone to use with Nas. On my tablet (running an older version) it supports more file types and crucially it let's you play videos from the Nas with other apps with better video capabilities (MX, VLC, etc.). This new version only supports 2 file types! Come on guys your going backwards here... Also I would like to see the categories in my shared videos -ie movies, TV shows ect.
Junk. I receive a message that QVideo has crashed whenever I reboot my phone. Unknown if anything else is affected. Droid Turbo 2 running Marshmallow on VZW. Phone has not been modded.
05/12/2016: SERIOUS FLAW: You can't change the download folder to an external SD card or drive, so it will eat up your internal memory fast if you want to download a few movies for the road. This is the ONLY media app I've ever seen where you couldn't change the download folder. NEEDS FIX. Otherwise, it seems to work okay. If you need a workaround, you could use a file manager (like ES or Astro) to move the file(s) after you download them. The default folder is: /storage/emulated/0/Qvideo/localfolder It's fairly easy if you make shortcuts in ES, but you can't move files from internal to external storage using Tasker, so automating it that way won't work, unfortunately.
Regular error messages saying it's not working, even when I'm not using the app. Please fix
I get a population constantly saying qvideo has stopped responding even when I'm not using it
Keeps crashing on my Samsung Galaxy s6, running 6.0.1
Cannot access using Nexus 6p
Use plex instead
The app is very inconsistent in showing all the videos loaded. Many a times it skips few videos. Doesn't support all formats and biggest problem of all messes up with user rights. Shows videos of people whom doesn't have access right even if its explicitly denied.
When I try to connect to my nas with the latest version it says you must have firmware 4.1 or later.. My nas is running 4.2?
I get a message "Only NAS firmware 4.1.0 and later versions are supported" my NAS is running 4.2.0 (the latest non beta)
Doesn't detect my Chromecast on HTC M9 even though Qphoto does it without any issues.
Shows videos that have been deleted. The default player you cannot fast forward or rewind & the progress bar of the video is always zero

This app is amazing, not sure why it's getting such a bad wrap, in some reviews here. My only request is the ability to sort TV Shows by episode number, instead of by the title of the episode, it will make things a little tidier and easier to watch in chronological order.
