Qsirch helps you quickly find the files you need. You can perform full-text search to locate files on the QNAP NAS and then further browse and share the files. Free yet powerful, Qsirch is your best search tool.

Awesome guys! This was THE key app missing from the qnap suite. How nice is it to be able to search for a document among 20tB of data from your phone! LOVE IT! Edited to add: this does not search the content of files? Apparently only filenames .. soooo close!

Finally the app is here, however i could only give three starts because in most cases there are too many bad results.for example when I search pdfs I get all the pdfs from all users...there is no way to only search in your own nas folders...therefore there are way too many results , impossible to find my own files
