Scans magazines fast

I was so despret to get this app to scan pages from my new horse magazine...when I opened it it just showed me the big logo actable then the screen turned black and after 2 seconds it closed itself automatically. I tried many times to open it but it closed!!! I'm soo soooo angry!!!!somebody help!!??!!

A list of magazines and other media containing actable content would be helpful. Are there even any actable content ads anymore at all? I just checked like 20 magazines and could not find one actable image.

Doesn't work with Samsung tablet. Scans the page but nothing happens

Great technology and will probably be the first of many steps making a printed page come to life.

There is potential here but on my Galaxy S 5 running lollipop, the graphics were flickering so much it was unwatchable. Uninstalled.

Couldn't try the app because it won't connect to the internet on my ASUS tf700 tablet

This app countinues to scan without any recognition. It also doesn't close. This app was featured in Entrepreneur mag. I hope a fix comes REALLY soon.

Really cool concept - and when it worked and showed the video, it was very cool. But the app is very buggy. I installed it to get a 25% discount for Weight Watchers - but the app keeps crashing.

I installed this app and now my phone is going Willy nilly. Don't download this app!

Had to turn off the phone in order to stop the app. No deal, Smithsonian. Uninstalled.

I love tech and how it enhances our lives, so of course when I saw this offered on the cover of the latest Smithsonian mag. I had to DL it immediately. Sadly, it comes with no instructions, it takes forever to "focus" and sometimes never, it also seems that if you move from the pic you scanned that it stops sending you the material, ie..video, that you were streaming. It's a long way from prime-time use but hopefully it will have enough interest that it will get where it wanted to go...sooner rather then later I hope!

A little slow to load some images, but like the idea of getting more info via tablet.

Did not work! Crashed phone. This technology can adversely affect the brands that use them Marketers Beware!!!

It downloads the video, but no video plays???

Waste of time

With this available to download on the November issue of Entrepreneur Magazine, you would think the creators would have spent some time on better instructions for this new technology. It took a minute to figure out(as it goes, and is only able to stay, right to the "scanning" mode.) You can't move if you are viewing the 3-D feature as it uses the page you scanned to display the popping images and plays voice overs. Actable could have done a better job at instructing for their very interesting application.

I have no idea what is supposed to do, but it just scans and many little blue points appear as it scans. Oriental trading advertised this app along with an iPad app, but I was disappointed. Ok..just saw vid. Would be awesome if I could get to work. I also have droid Max hd

Very cool app. I have had no problems with this. Really adds to the page you are looking at.

What a very cool app! Amazing... had no idea what to expect. Now I will be looking for that little symbol to see what other clever surprises await....

Video won't adjust to fit my screen, also won't auto rotate. Goes into terminal loop when trying to shut down.

I used it on an add in Crutchfield circular. It was magical. That add came to life.

Worked fine on my Sprecher Hard Root Beer box.

Keeps searching and won't bring anything up on my Sprecher box?

This is so cool, and provides interesting potential for the way companies use and design their packaging. It is simple and streamlined, altough it took me about 5 minutes to figure out how it woks. The only real downside is that there are not a lot of products that interact with it yet. hopefully that will change soon.

Nice app, but with latest update, I can't understand requirement of sms permission. Why would you be needing that ?
