Can take perform voice recording. Do not know how to stop the recording.

Where to start... This only has 66 reviews... Hah! They erased all of the previous reviews, and are trying to start over, hiding all the bad stuff. Before you can start over, you have to figure out a way for Android users to update their Qmote without borrowing someone's iPhone. It is not that hard, you just need to finish the software that Kickstarter gave you the capital for...

I bought the quote when it was a Kickstarter project. At one point this app worked really well, and then they updated it and I can no longer pair it with my phone and set up some functions.

Pretty happy with the performance. But number of actions and patterns are limited. A plugin to Tasker is appreciated. But very poorly built antenna, poor signal range and as expected antenna broke just after 2 weeks of normal usage. Even though its a good product, can not expect a good life because antena.

Okay but limited, the media play/pause doesn't work with all my media apps (mainly missing foobarcon and Netflix). Some other functions also don't work. Would like it if it interacted with any app that overlays (accepting calls, snooze alarm)

I do like the qmote but I personally would like this app better if there was a way to not only activate an app but shut one off as well, however if there is something that will let you do so please share.

Cannot remove the function. Can implement the keepAlive function in this app? Because Moto G cannot auto reconnect the qmote when a live. Thank you.

is the wemo integration actually working? I have wemo app installed, wemo devices connected and running without problem, but the qmote app can't find any wemo devices at all

It was working fine in my wife's phone and now is not. Mine stopped working with marshmallow update. Te phone receives the click but nothing happens

With the update to Android Marshmallow, the Qmote devices can no longer connect to the phone or the app

I lost my phone (in my car) then remembered I had the qmote on my car keys... (Bluetooth is definitely ON) and clicking it did nothing. It was the first time I used the device since I set it up. Even when I eventually found my phone it was unable to connect to my quote at all. So right now I just have a rather expensive key chain :/

I set 2 short clicks for home button. As described the 2nd one should be longer to trigger Google now. But is not working. Can you help me please?

Just using it from a day. Pretty happy with the performance. But number of actions and patterns are limited. A plugin to Tasker will get the 5th star.

The app feels somewhat slow, clunky and needs to have better instructions. Button actions are pretty basic and limited. Find My Phone is thru the media volume channel at the moment, which isn't very useful. Find My Phone should ring my device regardless of media or ringer volume; it needs to work when the device is set to complete silence mode. Overall the Qmote would be an much better product if it could be used with Tasker, preferably without the Qmote app.

My only complaint is that it keeps reseting my default keyboard. I don't like the default keyboard on my phone so this is particularly annoying

C70%

Still having Quote notification on pull down, requiring it to be a Bluetooth keyboard messes with onscreen keyboard layout.

C70%

Persistent notifications are amateurish and unwanted.

Device functions as a bluetooth keyboard, meaning onscreen keyboard is no longer available while it is connected. App interface is clunkily designed, with non-standard icons that have no explanatory text. Tap patterns are extremely limited -- why allow 4 short taps but not even three long taps? Flashlight control is not functional. App list (for launching an app) is not in alphabetical order, last-installed order, or any sane order I can see with no option to change order or search. Seems a waste of $.

Adds a notification "Qmote Starts" that does nothing when tapped and cannot be dismissed. It is unclear what "Qmote Starts" means. The notification is not 'low priority' so it shows in my notification bar and lock screen. The main app screen is covered by a tutorial which has a button that says "Exit", but the app does not exit when it is pressed. After logging into the "Cloud" screen there is a button 'revoke', which I assume means 'log out'? English translations seem only half thought out.

Complete rubbish! I have waited for 1 year for that thing? Really? The app will screw up my keyboard completely while the device is connected. So it is basically unusable! Waste of money and time!

The first month of having the remote was terrible, but the qmote team was quick in fixing their problems and having their app & remote run amazingly. I had a problem with the camera feature and within two weeks their support had fixed my problem with a new update. The only draw back to updating my qmote is that I had to borrow an iPhone for 5 mins to update the remote since there's no update tool yet for Android. I really love using the remote and being able to quickly perform tasks with a couple of clicks.

+1 star from my last review. You guys are making great improvements in the app, keep up the good work! 5/5 when it works with Tasker.
