Dans ce livre, Histoires des Prophètes ont été compilées de l'œuvre intitulée Al-Bidâyah wan-Nihâyah (le début et la fin), une grande oeuvre du célèbre exégèse et historien musulman Ibn Kathîr.


Ce livre qui est une vaste fresque, consacrée à l'histoire de l'univers, depuis la création du Trône " 'Arch " et du Siège " Koursî ", en passant par la Table bien gardée " al-Lawh al-Mahfoûdh" les cieux et la terre, les anges... traite dans un style facile et agréable des biographies des ¨Prophètes et Messagers de Dieu, depuis Adam, jusqu 'à Jésus.

Cette oeuvre s'est imposée comme une référence dans les milieux de l'Islam, pour la connaissance de la vie des messagers de Dieu aussi bien ceux qui sont cités dans le Coran que d'autres.

L'imam Abou al-Fidâ Imad ad-Dîne 'Ismâ'îl 'Ibn 'Omar 'Ibn Kathîr al-Qorâchi al-Basrâwi naquit en 701 h. à Mijdal, un village dans les faubourgs de Bosra, au sud de Damas.

Son père était prédicateur.

Il mourut alors qu'Ibn Kathîr avait quatre ans.

Son frère, le cheikh 'Abd al-Wahâb prit soin de lui et veilla sur son éducation.

Il déménagea à Damas en 706 h. quand 'Ibn Kathîr avait cinq ans.

Il a écrit plusieurs livres dont : La célèbre exégèse connue sous le nom de " Tafsir 'Ibn Kathîr ".

Ce livre compte parmi les meilleurs livres basés sur les diverses techniques d'exégèse.

Le célèbre livre d'histoire connu sous le nom de " al-Bidâya wa an-Nihâya ".

La biographie du prophète as-Sira an-Nabawiyya " sous le nom de " al-Fousoul fi 'Ikhtisân Sirat ar-Rasoul ".

Il mourut à Damas en 774 h.

In this book, Stories of Prophets were compiled from the work entitled Al-wan-Nihayah Bidayah (beginning and end), a large work of the famous Muslim historian Ibn exegesis and Kathir.

Imam Abu al-Fida Imad ad-Deen 'Isma'il Ibn' Umar Ibn al-Kathir al-Basrâwi Qorâchi born in 701 h. to Mijdal, a village on the outskirts of Bosra, south of Damascus.

His father was a preacher.

He died when Ibn Kathir was four.

His brother, Sheikh 'Abd al-Wahab took care of him and watched over his education.

He moved to Damascus in 706 h. when Ibn Kathir was five.

He has written several books including: The famous exegesis known as the "Tafsir Ibn Kathir."

This book is among the best books based on various exegetical techniques.

The biography of the prophet as-an-Sira Nabawiyya "under the name" al-Fousoul fi 'Ikhtisân Sirat ar-Rasoul ".

He died in Damascus in 774 h.
