Q8 Taxi - Book taxi in Kuwait

Drivers just use this to get your fare. Then they cancel ride and demand higher amounts. App is severely broken in the way it works.

the application dos not work after the update . it was working good before but naw its not working i hope thy will fix it .

So this still require to have cash?!!!!! Why?!!! Where the knet payment option?!!! What about i need to book the taxi for a family member and need to pay with knet because the other party does not have cash!! What is the use of this app exactly?!!!!!?????

App is lot much easier to use and made my journeys lot comfortable. Since it gives the driver details and estimated fare from the time of booking feels safer and can avoid the unwanted negotiations with the driver. Had trouble with one of the driver on the route he took me and called the customer support . the lady who answered was so polite and immediately fixed the issue by calling the driver .

Don't use it, they will eat your money, saying that meter charge and they have separate meter and charging huge amount.

I'm really happy that they make sure q8taxi drivers are friendly to customers I guess , I had real bad experience when taking ride with street cabs. Rides are affordable and really cut down the issues with bargaining on fare. Usually taxi reach within 5 to 6 mins at most times other than peak hours. Since there is no surcharge on peak hours its worth calling them even though need to wait a bit more. always use the call driver option to make sure the driver reach on time.

Excellent service . I have taken few rides with q8taxi .. It is highly reliable , safe and reasonable charges . The drivers are professional and polite and having clean cabs .. highly recommended !

Normally from Dajeej to Salmiya block 10, taxi charges 1.5 KWD and Max 2 KWD in peak time. Here it's showing nearly 2.650 KWD

An advance booking option would be helpful instead of sending request when getting ready.

Am a regular passenger and I can see lot of improvements on the new update , ETA of driver is perfect now and Time to destination is useful. SMS option to send messages to driver is good as well. Searching drivers become better I guess since the drivers are calling me back from my proximity before I used to get call back from far away drivers.

I ordered a taxi, called the driver he was super far and the app keeps telling me that I'm on ride. Called the customer service and they couldn't do anything. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I use q8taxi regularly and so far the service is good, most times needs to send the request more than 2 or 3 times to get a driver. Fare is OK compared to the cabs getting from street. It would be great if they had a credit card payment option.

This is a good concept to put in Kuwait and I personally used their services twice to airport ,fare is lower than normal taxis and drivers were good, one taxi was bit older and AC was not put on during the trip, but can tolerate since it's April and weather is fine.

Advance booking is not possible and especially during night after 11 available taxis are less and had to wait long to get a confirmation.

I've sent mails all the way it's not ok as for the fares you show the customer a max fare and u say it's up for the traffic but it's not as long as the ride is in the hand of the driver to get the longest ride to gain extra so that's bull

Bogus application doesn't work at all, I think other reviews are fake.

If u ride city to salmiya through this aap minimum 2.250 need...if argue with driver he take 1.750
