Bank of the Cascades Mobile

Most tasks seem to work as expected with this App. However, the OCR used to deposit checks does not work well at all. I have yet to try a deposit where I did not get the error: "The amount you entered does not match what was detected in the image. Retry" This even happened with a printed check, good lighting, a steady tablet, and with many attempts. There should be an option to ignore the OCR and say "Yes, the amount I entered is correct. Deposit this check as requested". Please include this in the next update.

Account balance and available balance should match... Fingerprint sign in is long overdue...have too go to a separate site for more in-depth bill pay which should be unnecessary. Doesn't say which accounts the bills are coming out of with going to multiple different locations in the app. Lots and lots of work needed to make app comparable to B of A or Wells Fargo, etc.

This app is terrible crashes at least 85% of the time I open it. If i use the mobile deposit neither my camera or flash will work until I restart the phone. Slow and displays account balance instead of the available Balance. Always have trouble with the mobile deposit not matching the deposit amount then guess what I have to restart my phone to try again. I'm using a Verizon galaxy s6 edge

Would love to see ability to deposit checks by phone photo with no extra charge added. Also memo fields added for bill pay and transfers. Downgrading my rating since the March 2016 update seems to crash my cell phone camera (unable to connect.)

I have all the correct information but it just sits there with the loading circle Neverending so I can't check anything! If I want to do that I have to drive all the way across town to go to a damn atm. I hate this bank.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. So I guess 3.6 stars and a half broken app is good enough for these guys. We've been complaining about the camera issue for a while with NO FIX. Thanks BOTC. I'm LUCKY if I can deposit one check before it crashes the camera. Then I have to restart before the camera works again. Even after I close the app I can't use my camera until I restart. Unbelievably frustrating piece of junk app. Still no fix, been months. Get it together maybe??? Pathetic.

Botc has screwed up everything! App has worked 1 time! Much happier with bofa. Didnt ask for the switch in the first place!

Hard to keep up on your account when the ap NEVER works right won't load errors all the time have to restart my phone 2 or 3 times or uninstall and reinstall the ap all the time

The mobile deposit keeps crashing my camera. Such a pain! Every time I try to do a deposit, it crashes the camera and I have to restart the phone. Please fix!

Used to work well but image capture for mobile check deposit crashes the app =(

I can't even log in without multiple "unknown error occurred" messages popping up.

Doesn't always show me all of my transactions. My pending transactions randomly disappear making my current balance wrong 99.9% of the time.

The DBA should be fired. This site is just painful to use. I'm dumping this dog as soon as I can.

Half the time it doesn't recognize my password, the other half it just won't log in. Very frustrating.

I can't even get to the set up page.....this app is horrible

I would like to know what my current balance is rather than what it was before my transactions. Makes it confusing.

I liked the app better before the update. Now I have to turn my tablet to landscape to see everything. I thought it didn't work before I figured that out - very annoying as I mostly view in portrait mode.

Really like the updates. Faster and easier on the eye.

No matter how many ways, even with the suggestions from their online chat reps, this app will not correctly connect to my account.

I'm so glad that BOTC has this app, especially since I don't have access to a computer that isn't broken. Also, when balancing your checkbook, keep in mind that the transactions still pending are NOT factored into your balance on the app, so don't check them off, and treat these transactions as if they haven't happened yet when doing the math.

Works pretty smoothly. No concerns.

I installed the app and it keeps giving me a server connection error please fix and rating will be higher i got 4g service and unlimited everything

Before BOTC took-over Home Federal, I could see pending transactions and keep better watch of my account. Now all I can see is available balance that is usually higher than current balance (and that really doesnt make sense to me)...So, what you see in the previews of this app is ALL you get. The nicest thing I can say is that I am just glad to be able to check my balance (available/current not making sense aside).
