About Ping ICMP
The easiest way to test the reachability of a host. This application measures the time from transmission to reception using ICMP and records any packet loss. It is possible to measure the latency via TCP on devices where ICMP is not supported (most Samsung devices).

Zoltán creates great apps. Easy enough to use by non techies like me. Enough features for the guru's. I was hoping this one would be for LAN. But its nice to test wan and see results I pay my ISP for. It looks like Google's new security has screwed testing w his other app. At least it has on a nexus. Now no latency results. Has to be a way around this. I had spoke to Zoltán. But did not hear back. Shame as the nexus is now very affordable. So one of my favorite apps is not useless. Sucks.
