About BTTerm2
BTTerm2 provides a realtime console for Bluetooth serial communication, when combined with a low cost SPP bluetooth adapter. This terminal application is a great choice for close-to-hardware electronics and a large variety of microcontroller projects.
BTTerm2 has a built-in GUI for discovering and pairing to a bluetooth SPP adapter, making the pairing process very simple. The simple user interface is designed to allow the user to view the serial data using hexadecimal and/or ASCII conversion, and can be customized to fit your device as needed.
The user can transmit data across the bluetooth channel using either standard ASCII or SLIP protocol. For those not familiar with the SLIP protocol, it is used to form inband packets, and is widely used in amateur radio modems (aka KISS TNC or HAM radio APRS).
BTTerm2 allows the storage of up to six macro commands, which can customized by the user and transmitted at the touch of a button.
