AT&T roms are affected by broken MP3 playback, which appears to be related to the removal of the flash player libraries required by the server-side dewplayer. The audio & video player should be rewritten in Ajax or HTML5 to eliminate streaming issues.

Won't even connect to the server anymore no idea what the last update did but this app is now useless

The online version is great but as far as the native application goes please update ASAP. Ui is really bad, app is a bit buggy, functionality is too basic. Need to be able to upload from the share via function within android, to be able to upload multiple files, maybe automatically upload the phone's pics and vids, keep the display parameters for every folder separately, maybe refresh automatically, etc etc.

Its not working on android. Keep getting msg that pydio is not installed on specific path (works fine from win). Managed to setup connection within my network but it doesnt work when on data plan on my mobile (all routing on firewall set up correctly as it works with firefox under Win7). The app is a crap!!!

Installed both the Web and Android app and all work well. Haven't installed any other plugins so far but am happy with the basic installation as I am able to manage my files the way I want. The PIN password option for the mobile app is great!

Update: The devs contacted me promptly and offered an apk which resolved my issue. 5 stars for solid support! Initial review: 1.5 doesnt allow me to upload files. I can create folders but each time i try to upload a file, it takes me to Transfers and it shows me the file with status uploaded. However the file is never uploaded and i cant access it from either the app or the web. ps. I can upload files normally through the web or the ipad app. So this is only an Android App issue. Please advice. Cheers

The concept of a private Cloud Infrastructure is awesome! Missing: compress/xcompress files/folders, disable filename shortening, copy/move over repositories. These are crucial features. On top the app crashes frequently. There is no improvement on the app since more than one year. Five stars, once these basic functionality is implemented.

My 2 gripes which I was hoping would be fixed in this version, is that file names are being truncated to a uselessly short blob of garbage with an ellipsis that looks like this: gre...pg I have a lot more screen real estate than what this app is making use of. FYI I'm using the note 2. Also, this will flat out not work with a self signed SSL cert, it gives me an error that the server cannot be reached despite checking the box to allow any cert. 5 stars if fixed.

Q70%
by Q####:

It deprecates file names. Other than that it's great.

I just recently installed and set up my host server. App connects flawlessly. The cloud service as a whole is great. I plan on hosting space for my family and friends. I wish there was an option to pull a fresh directory tree every connection instead of cached. Great app though. I look forward to future updates.

If you are using Pydio to store data, this is a super essential tool to extend your access. Works great!

After testing on 5 separate platforms, I found that AT&T roms are the only ones affected by broken MP3 playback. Pydio-Android works great on all of my other systems, including within Android-x86. AT&T is apparently, once again, up to no good.

Pydio free server can't login via web browser, via desktop software client, and via android client. Is the server down? Thank You "Cannot create root path for repository (My Files). Please check repository configuration or that your folder is writeable!" [Message from web browser]

Even on a tablet I see a folder called "Devices" getting shortened to "De...es" which makes no sense when there is a lot of whitespace to use for folder and file names. 5 stars if this is fixed

Q70%

Could it be better? Absolutely, if you invest money on it.Satisfied as a free app. Thanks to all developers and contributors.

After being impressed with the polish of the Pydio web interface (at least on on a desktop browser), I expected a similar level of polish from the app. However, I find it lacking in a number of areas. Functionally, there needs to be better file select and move options. Multi-select is completely broken, causing the menu to fail to open after the first attempt, requiring a restart of the app. It would be better if the app followed Android design practices when implementing features like this. Also, the "dark" theme is poorly designed, giving little if any display improvement on OLED devices.

Being limited to only 3 files per upload the generous unlimited storage is a joke. Plus after I spent many hours of uploading the system suddenly shut down on all my PCs and cellphone. Keeps saying: "DibiDriverException: Too many connections". Looks like a terrible waste of time :-( If it was some servers problem, as you now say, why it used to work for 1 day? And now it`s clear they steel your data. They took GBs of my music just to say now: (quote) "No repository!" I strongly recommend everybody not to upload anything valuable to their scam system.

app works really well for the most part. have been using it with a self hosted setup with no issues. When uploading multiple files, selection window scrolling still needs some polishing. It would also be a great idea to allow android built-in gallery to handle multiple file uploading, perhaps that would resolve the issue with slow scroller performance when selecting multiple items. I have been using pydio server for the last year and find it to be an excellent solution and alterantive to hightail/dropbox etc and am seriously considering the PRO version.
