About TrafTerm
TrafTerm is an Android Intelligent Traffic Controller Handset, a terminal application for communicating with Traffic Light equipment.
TrafTerm is more than a simple Terminal Handset as it includes additional Utilities for performing specific Traffic Controller operations.
The program communicates via Bluetooth and a Bluetooth Serial RS232 adapter is required. For details of constructing both a Roving Networks and a ConnectBlue adapter and also a User Guide see my website.
There are 2 versions of this program, This ‘TrafTerm’ version using the Action Bar and the original depreciated ‘TrafTerm command bar’ using the Options Menu. This Action Bar has been the preferred method to use since Android 3.0, the original menu button used in TrafTerm was superseded by the Action Bar.

While even newer Controller designs stay with RS232 protocol, this software bridges old style comms with newest technology. Throw away Oysters, put your Psion in the museum, leave the shiny laptops in the car and use this software with your latest Android gadget along with either an off the shelf Bluetooth device or home made (with instructions courtesy of developer) to not just interrogate Controllers, Outstations etc. but to also send custom scripts, log sessions, all completely wire free.! Trafterm is my day to day handset. Using office prepared scripts makes my tasks of clf and timetable updates on street simple.

Working fine on Scroll Evoke tablet. Same functionality as toolbox. Couple of glitches, but these may well be my functionality rather than the APP.

Very specialised app but this is exactly what I want. As a signal engineer this is a my favourite terminal. It's quick, simple and best of all Completely Free. No licensing and installed on multiple devices.
