Belkin MediaPlay

Wouldn't play YouTube videos on my android tablet. Just hung there when I pressed play. The help documentation wouldn't display either - it gave a 403 error. Buggy, unreliable app.

Buggy, doesn't work with Chromecast and barely shows up media as a server anyway.. mytwonky sucks ass!!

its kind of a useless app unless you have a monster sized house a small radio and being cheap since flash drives are cheap as most Belkin routers are made. it only works on wifi. make it so you can access your router over another connection with a password then the app will be useful oh this app is updated as much as Belkin routers too. aka Never

Useless app. Slow, sluggish, never opens any links, and the word BEAM is on every YOU TUBE video I try to access, and just freezes up. I am better off accessing each site on my own or using the You Tube app.

Why not just access to the router USB... Pretty much a useless feature.. I Hate the icon front end.. Belkin should have invested in a USB access for your devices instead.. At least that would be useful.

Hate this app. Pointless and cluttered. Didn't take the time to figure it out. There are far better solutions for media streaming that are much more elegant.

This never worked. Replaced my Belkin router after it took a crap on me in less than two years. I only downloaded this app because it was supposed to do something, but it never did. Just like Belkin, it's complete garbage.

No longer detects roku or smart tv

This app wont work with Xbox because when does anything Microsoft make ever work. Buy a real game system like PS4. I bet you use internet explorer too.

Used to be able to access my hard drive through my router via this app. Can't anymore.

I got an Apple T.V. as a gift, but being a mainly Windows/Android home, I couldn't stream a bulk of my content. With my new Belkin router I hoped this would bridge the gap, if slightly at most. Its as if the app runs without connecting to anything at all. No message on what's happening when my content doesn't stream, no indication that its even attempting to connect. If it doesn't work with Apple TV, why does it list the device as available in the first place? 100% disappointed

Its not the easiest to get used to but its the only media share app I've found that works on my setup.

The name pretty much gives you the clue as to how this system works. Twonky can't index the content on my USB drive (2TB Seagate drive) because it's too large. Really? What's the point of having a usb drive port if you can't plug in big back up drives? Just guess how well the app works then. It simply doesn't replace accessing the files through my PC or using my mobile device's built in DLNA offering...of course, that can't connect to a Twonky drive either. :p If I could give it a 0 rating, I would.

This is just what I needed to beam all my media from my phone to tv

App says it is beaming content from my Android device... but to whom is unknown. Certainly not being received by the intended viewing device on my Belkin network.

I bought a router that supports DLNA, thinking this was going to be a great solution for streaming my movies to each of my 3 Roku's, only to find out I wasted my money...This sucks.

While this app works ok Belkin have limited mytwonky to 12000 files but refuse to mention this anywhere. Buyer be warned

Freezes often and has been loading for ages I also see "UNABLE TO BEAM" way more than I should ... also i pull it up on my hubby's phone and the same link works perfect we have the same phone same tec whats the deal?

This app is severly broken. I guess it makes sense that Belkin would take out the competition (twonky beam) since they make cables a that are an alternative to this app.

Check airwire..seems the best dlna app presently.

Title says it all. This app sux. Used Twonky for a couple of years & it was fine. Developers--pull your heads out & bring back Twonky!

Support is a scam. Dont download and most definitely dont buy this router.
