Tactile Player Free for Android
This app is so underrated. I searched the web for an app like this and somehow came across this amazing app. Does what it says without issue. Highly recommended.
Occasionally desyncs notification with activated state and becomes permanently stuck on, but works otherwise
Truly the app was good performer with great balancing of sound the best only for the jet audio plus player logically app was working
Needs an update for newer Android versions. With that, it's easily a 5 star app.
It doesn't works....
Works great with lg4
Get a lot of false pause/play when opening and closing phone cover (not pressing power button). Volume buttons do not work at all. --- Update --- The false pause/play are triggered by the magnetic cover in my case. That is still a problem.
I upgraded via in app purchase and it didn't work at all. And there is no way via the app to contact devs for a refund. Not happy I want a refund!
It will pause but not play I tried jet audio, Samsung player, Google player, VLC player, I tried setting volume up, volume down, and power button, I tried clicking bug fix, I tried setting the time interval at every level. I'm out of options. I emailed in regards . I just want a refund which they don't even offer.
The app does what it supposed to do with some minor issues I managed to overcome. The main problem for me is that it doesn't work with apple music. Would love to see a fix for that.
I would desperately love for a feature which skips songs when you hold the volume button for a certain time instead of 2x press. That's how I control my volume generally
This is the best volume button music control app I found as far as accuracy, reliability, and music player compatibility. Plus, it only takes 4mb of ram while running! Great work; definitely worth the pro upgrade.
I already paid for the full app and now i cant download the full version. (I paid from inside the free app for the premium features)help pls this is a very cool app and i don't normally give money for apps , but this app was well worth it when i bought it.
Did not work with stock music player on my Samsung S6 running marshmallow. Tried fiddling around with it. Got Bored. Uninstalled.
Otimo era q eu procurava, agora eu n preciso mais interromper as minhas caminhadas e pedaladas p mudar as musicas do celular!
Not working with the new Samsung music
Works great with lg4
It changes the song but also increases volume along with it
This app can work with all players unlike Pocket Skip Track
I upgraded via in app purchase and it didn't work at all. And there is no way via the app to contact devs for a refund. Not happy I want a refund!
Had an issue with my in app upgrade to the full version, but the developers responded and helped me resolve the problem real fast. Awesome app and awesome developers.
Using HTC M8, paid version of app. Changing track using volume + and - works about 80% of the time. Pausing using power button has yet to work. Nothing happens immediately, but sometimes it will pause and play randomly 5 seconds later - like it's lagging. At times I have to turn it off and back on to work even with auto shutoff set to never. I'd prefer to change the track by holding either volume + or - buttons for a second. If you could throw that option in and fix the problems, you'd get 5 stars from me!
I've tried several other apps for this, including Pocket Skip Track, to get this feature back on my Note 4 after getting used to it on my old rooted phone, and finally one works. It's great while cooking, getting groceries, doing motorcycle/car maintenance, anything where it'd be easier to reach down and hit a button to change songs instead of taking the phone out if your pocket and changing it on the screen.
This is the app I've been waiting for! I honestly was starting to lose hope and considering learning Java just to figure out how to make this app right when I discovered Tactile Player. For a long time, when I rooted my phones, I appreciated the long-press-volume-to-skip-track feature in CyanogenMod roms. Now that I'm unrooted, it's harder to find that functionality. Some apps claim to be able to do a double-tap on the volume rocker to skip songs, but I've found the others to be buggy (service dying, volume giong up before switching tracks, double-tap interval too long or too short). Tactile Player works well on my Nexus 5x running Marshmallow, and it has a lot of great configuration options. Excellent work!
Does not work at all on my phone. The power button just turns the display on and off when I tap it three times.
Worked perfectly on my nexus 5, now on my lg g3 it only works after repeating the action a few times in a row. Edit: I have and had the interval set to it's maximum.
Does what it says.. in my Samsung Core 2 DUOS
Volume buttons skip or back track on a double click. I was looking for a way to do this while my phone is in my pocket while riding my motorcycle. Best of all, my LG has its buttons on the back, making it really easy to feel the buttons while in my pocket. If developers guarantee compatibility with 6.0 Marshmallow, It is a guarantee buy.
I had this feature with cyanogenmod and have been looking for something just like it. This is excellent and exactly what I wanted
Sadly it doesn't even work - clicking volume buttons makes my volume go up and down sporadically and the power button does nothing.
I bought the full version through this app on my phone and I don't have full version on my tablet, but just my phone. I want a refund and to buy the full version! This app has functioned great though! :)
The best app tht I had for over 3 years now, got just one problem, after I decided to buy it.. some features don't work as intended neither that widget.. Help , and it still says Free version to me although I payed it .. Take that back with the widget, works now for some reason XD But still can'T shake off that ''Free'' part even if I payed for it :P
I'll pay a dollar if an app does it. Saved me a crap load of tasker Inputs. Missed this option since my stone age jailbroken iPhone 3. Great app! Wish I could have the option to have single press because I use my phone in my car and always have max volume anyway. Pretty good when my only complaint is my own lazyness.
Provides functionality that is missing in headsets. In-app upgraded, yet Google Play does not show that I paid for this app!?
I like the widget functions but the app utself is ugly. Go for material design a bit.
App works great but where is it's widget
I needed an app like this for Spotify, and this is the first one I found that works. Thanks! PS1: Add more key words in the description so that the app is easier to find while searching :) PS2: I feel like long pressing the volume button is better than double tapping, but just my two cents.
Not working(my phone is not Rooted)
Gets the job done on my HTC ONE m7. Only wish it had the ability to rewind or fast forward in five or ten second intervals. That would make this PERFECT!

Super useful when driving. Has trouble turning off sometimes though. I can manually turn it off in the app and it persists to switch songs when I just want to turn up the volume. Literally have to force stop in app settings. Power button press interval length adjuster just like the volume one would be great. Don't understand why it isn't in there (I often open up my phone to look at the time then switch it off, only to unintentionally pause my music, so the interval is far too long for me) Otherwise, really appreciate that this app exists.
