Perfect Bake

Crashes when I try to open it.

As I guy I suck at cooking so I figured why not give it a try. First item I tried was a 12 Oz Rib Eye steak. Would be nice if items could be added using bar codes from products purchased. Would also be nice to have the ability to use a website instead of the app to add recipes as the small screen of a tablet or smartphone does not make it very easy. Not to mention the lack of instructions on how to add or use the different options offered when adding a new recipe. Hardest thing to do in this whole enterprise was adding the recipe to the app. Mixing the items was super easy and the scale measured items accurately. Will try again with another recipe soon.

I've deleted my old one star review and am upgrading to 5 stars. They went out of their way to make sure I could get this working and have been brilliant helping me out. Thanks Perfect people. Love it! Makes baking so simple even a klutz like me can make something awesome.

As a professional Baker and Pastry Chef with 30 years of experience using scales both digital and others I give this product a 5 Star rating, this is a must need for any kitchen. I love using it both at work for product development (the ability to get the nutritional value is worth $200+ alone) and at home for making wonderful treats for friends and family. The Pro version scale is one of the best that I have used, the accuracy is incomparable to anything you can buy at your average kitchen stores.

This is one of the slickest, well written apps ever. Foolproof, loaded with features, full help files and a developer who supports the app and its users. Plus you can use one scale with all three apps. There's the ability to add your own recipes too. It shows you how to input your recipe and even checks to see if you set it up properly. Awesome.

It's a great concept, and if you can find what you want, it'll work perfectly! However, this week work better if you're willing to choose a recipe from the app, rather than coming in knowing what you want to make - even generally. I wanted to make a cheesecake, and couldn't find anything to suit my needs. The shop seems to feature fancy varieties over basics. There is an area to download more, but it's a short, short list of a few categories like "Valentine's day" and "game night." I kept thinking I wasn't finding the right area, but that's it. On top of that, it takes a really long time to enter your own recipe. I tried, and even when I finished, the recipe did not function as I expected while editing, and I don't know how to fix it. It would've been easiest to make it normally. In short, if you can find what you need, this really is great. If not, don't try to use this.

Doesn't work with my phone/perfect bake scales :(

I was able to use corded scale on my fire tablet, phone is hard to see when cooking. Other then that, I LOVE IT! Makes cooking and clean up so much quicker and easier. Love that I can add my own recipes. Would be nice if there was a written and video tutorial how to add recipes...It would be a big help! Also love that I can add a picture for my recipe. Love the mixing bowls that come with the scale. Very sturdy and non skid bottoms. If I could use my corded scale I would give this 5 stars!

This is a WONDERFUL idea. Added my recipe to it, took a Loooong time to figure out how to add it, but it's in there now. So much easier while baking for Christmas. Didn't have a kitchen full of measuring devices and much less mess. Please, please PLEASE add more practical and more healthy recipes so I don't have to spend hours adding them myself. Would be fantastic if it had some sort of easy add recipes or a partnership with Pinterest perhaps. Looking forward to new developments.

I do not know, but even though i connect the perfect bake, It sometimes won't register. I have to clear the task manager off and go back to the app to register the perfect bake, other than that, the app is great!

Everything by weight, the way it's supposed to be.

The concept is awesome. But there are just not enough recipes... not even close. There isn't even a recipe for brownies. Or apple pie, or many other very popular recipes. Which might be ok IF it wasn't so hard and time consuming to add your own recipes. There should be a way to easily import a recipe (from a website or to type it in manually). The lack of recipes has made this potentially awesome product useless. Edit: How do you download recipe packs? When I click one it just gives an option to browse.

I bought a perfect bake scale from a Brookstone and it was completely broken and they refused to give me a refund. Nothing on perfect bake's support website fixed it so I sent in a letter and they sent a new one right back. 10/10 love the recipes, the app and the company, would recommend to anyone looking to buy their products.

More bread recipes pls.. love it

I don't need any of the other junk. Just the weight, please.

I've had mine for a few months now. When the kids see me pull out the colorful bowls and the scale, they get excited. However the "news" section isn't working anymore and the "get more recipes" section says I need internet and I have internet.

I've been baking for over 30 years. I just made the BEST cookies I've made in my entire life. This is so easy to use. Not only the concept of weight rather than measurement, but the timers as well. I never paid attention to beating times on recipes, but with the handy timer, I believe this is very important and has a huge impact on the end result. Love, love, love.

The scales battery drains between uses

I love this app and the scale that works with it. I was already measuring a lot of ingredients by weight, but his takes it to another level. I get so many fewer dishes dirty this way, my recipes are more consistent, and all my muffins turn out the same size!

It's not letting me sign in to my account it keeps telling me that either my email or password is wrong. And I just reset my password and it's still not working. Someone me l need to fix this ASAP.

Why not come up with one named perfect cooking for those that does not want to bake.

Keep it up guys i've been using this with your scale and is just perfect. Please add more recipes please! Another app for food recipes would be great as well!

I'm so annoyed at the inability to upload or create a recipe anywhere besides your phone. The number of recipes provided seems like a lot at first, but when you really go through it you'll find few pies or really interesting and quick things like puff pastry and savory bakes that aren't just desserts. I like the ease of it all when I'm in a hurry, but if I have to make an account I'd really like it linked to web resources for adding custom recipes. Also, the phone interface is crummy compared to tablets.

Previously rated one star for app continuously crashing. Followed the troubleshooting on the devs support page and completely fixed the issue. Made my first recipe with no issues, and it was fun! I imagine they'll just improve from here. Hopefully they update with more recipes, and keep them free. Nice work with this device and user friendly app.

Tried numerous of times to contact customer service and they don't seem to care to respond now that the return period has ended. Please do yourself a favor an do not purchase this pruduct. Measuring cups are way more reliable than this product.

But my scale is DOA so I can't even use the app. Have asked for help through support three times over several weeks and have gotten no response.

Love the scale. Only suggestion would be to add in nutrition information with the recipes.

I was so excited to use this product and it set up initially and worked great. But the 2nd time I went to use it the Perfect Bake scale would not connect. I tried all the fixes, and also installed on my tablet and had the same issue. I submitted a trouble ticket and I received a response with the same fixes that I had already tried and reported back on the email that it still does not function. I am so disappointed that I do not have a working system and that I did not receive any further information from the company. I took the system back to where I purchased it and bought the Perfect Drink....it will not connect either. So disappointing.

After reading reviews I have decided not to purchase the scale.

Their customer service is awesome. When I made a complaint on the app it took them less than 24 hours to get in touch with me. They resolved my issue as quickly as they could which was a few minutes. Will be telling all my friends and family about their products and I can't wait to get the perfect drink. Once again thank you.
