The idea is NOT to back up non-Play-Store apps or to save you from re-downloading apps.
This app doesn't work properly with some devices. It may write the file on Internal storage. This is because getExternalStorageDirectory method provided by Android doesn't work properly on every device (for example Samsung Galaxy). We try to make some hacks to fix this Android app but still doesn't working on some devices.
So please don't rate negatively due to that...

Abandonware? With Android OS v6.0.1 Marshmallow update, this app no longer functions. No app update since August 28, 2015. I tried the free version, and it appears to still work, though has ads. No response from developer, to email inquiries. :::crickets::: Perhaps you could place that v6.0 disclaimer at the TOP of your app description, not on the LAST line.

Can't access storage on Android 6.0.1. This has been an outstanding issue for at least 2 months, when is this going to be remedied?

The Save button shows 2 storage paths - "self" and "emulated". On selecting either it errors out "could not read folder contents". Waste of money on this pro version.

backed up old cell, copied to PC, on new nexus 6p down loaded app and tried to backup, get permission issues. look like app defaults to storage and that directory on 6p is locked down. If developer would allow you to change directory to something we have permission to write to work fix issue. On PC put backup into the download directory, but app could not get to that directory ! Currently Does work anymore 6.0 Marshmallow !

Dev Deliberately preventing backup to Dropbox and Google Drive. The snicker idea of copy and paste is anacronistic. Dev implement Dropbox and Google Drive Backup support today for a five star

Selecting save location for the file would be nice but that's just a minor gripe. Would be nice if the list of applications wasn't in a proprietary format so that the list could be exported for publishing elsewhere (say for sharing a list of your favorite Apps with others on forums etc.).

Great app but Id like a few new features. I use it to keep my phone and tablets reasonably similar. Save file locations vary per device and you have to search for them. Can it just display the path? Also support for different file names please.

Pretty good except it does not work on Galaxy Note 7. Can't read the storage system.
