Tucanos Brazilian Grill for Android
The app is generally good unless you upgrade your phone. When I go to verify my info, it says the phone number is already in use and won't let me continue.
The app works fine and does what it says. The problem I have is that you are forced to have the app in order to receive any benefits, like the free birthday meal. Space on my phone is limited and the only time I use the app is once a year for my birthday. It is frustrating! What would be great, would be if you could have all of your family members on one app or the option to be in the club without having to have the app. Also, some people don't have smart phones at all...how is that fair to them?
I went for my birthday and i enjoyed it.they came out every few minutes with different meat to try always asking if you need anything and the employees wish you happy birthday.enjoyed it emmensely
The app keeps crashing anytime I click on anything within it. I don't know what happened the past few months but it is now useless.
I am a long time club Tucanos member but the app could not find my information as an existing user. I tried to input my email and phone number to create a new account and it said they were already being used. Go figure. I can't win either way. Also, you cannot redeem a birthday meal until 24 hours after downloading.
The Staff was awesome.. Food kept coming and coming... My wife was as full as a tick.. Lol... Dinner was Great...
All kinds of option
I love this place and this app is very helpful for discounts and keeping track of points. The best part? Free meal for your birthday!
This so far seems okay, but you can't add your children that are 13. They have to download the app & create their own accounts. You can't use your home phone number for the same household , because it only allows you to use one number per person and they have to be different.
Excited about the app! Favorite place to eat!
Food AWESOME WILL HAVE A GREAT TIME & VERY GOOD SERVICE
We have now been muti times and they take care of use right each time. Good selection and decent price
I have gotten at least 15 emails and notifications from the app today alone about a stupid buy one get one free coupon for lemonade. If I get one more message about it I'm seriously going to Uninstall the app.
Bundling a loyalty program into an app is probably the quickest way to discourage me from patronizing your business--even though I love the food and the service. There aren't enough locations to justify a restaurant finder. I despise apps that store data on my phone that I don't need--like a local copy of the menu with pictures. I *know* what you have--that's why I like to go there. If I need a menu, I'll check your website--I'm not going to go through the hassle of downloading an app for that. Keep it simple. Keep it lean. Keep it functional. Otherwise, you might be better off spending your marketing dollars on optimizing your web site for mobile users. Oh--and don't disguise ads as "notifications". I need to be notified about severe weather. I don't need to be notified about today's special. I love Tucanos. I hate their app. I'm only keeping it for the birthday club. (For that matter, I'm keeping it frozen with Titanium Backup so I don't have to deal with unwanted "notifications".)
Go to your settings. Tap on "Sounds and Notifications." Scroll down and tap "App Notifications." Scroll down to the Tucanos app and tap on it. Tap "Block all." Enjoy your free birthday meal without annoying notifications popping up.
This app makes it easy to get rewards points and redeem them. Use invitation code MikeRe19 when you sign up to get a bonus.
I'm really bugged that I have to download an app just to use the birthday rewards program. My husband and I go ONLY on our birthdays. There aren't many locations. It'll be on long enough for us to use the birthday rewards, but then it's being uninstalled. I don't need another pointless app taking up space on my phone.
I got a message saying that the notifications had been fixed. I haven't used the app at the restaurant, so I don't know if it works the way it should. I show a points balance and a dollar balance. Hopefully when the time comes I will be able to use it.
This app is so lame and it says my phone number is taken. I literally don't want to go here anymore just because of the app!
Don't like that we need an app. Mail me my free birthday card. I know it's expensive but with what they charge they can afford it.
I love this place!
I had the same problem with the phone number they really need to work on this app is really simple it shouldn't be this hard to sign up
Very active with a wide selection of dishes.
Tried to link to fb and it won't. I had the app on my old phone, now it can't find my acct. :(
Absolutely love thier food.
Always satisfied
Having to install an app is really stupid for claiming birthday rewards
Go back to the post card system. This app is too confusing. Not very many people go here often enough for a point system.
Received the email telling me the Birthday Club had gone paperless and to download the app to continue to receive my free meal. Sign-up was relatively painless, although the option to enter my email address I signed up originally with states "no such user", even though that's the email address that the email sent to notify me of the need for the app went to, but I digress. I got my 150 points for Facebook linking, 50 points for installing the app, and an additional 20 for providing my address and phone number, and subsequent notifications for each. Going there tonight so I'm hoping that the $10 credit works flawlessly. I knocked off a star for the app because of two issues, neither of which are deal breakers but they are still annoyances. First, whenever I open the app, it was setting my favorite store to a different store. Clearing app data didn't resolve so I uninstalled and reinstalled and that appears to have resolved it.....for now anyway. The second issue is that my phone number that appears underneath my name is incorrectly formatted. Instead of (XXX)XXX-XXXX it reads as (XXX)-XX-X-XXXX. Checking my profile the number shows up correctly. Weird!
It says user doesn't exist. Tried signing up through Facebook but wouldn't allow me to do that either. Too bad.
It says I don't exist, even though I get emails regularly & that is how I found out about the app. I tried to reset my password numerous times & haven't received the email with the details. Last year, after not receiving my birthday rewards in the mail, I contacted the company & they verified all my information & said I was in the system & should have received it. There is obviously a problem. I rated the app low, because of the problems. The restaurant is awesome & would give the restaurant 5 stars.
Just got my birthday reward!
Downloaded. Received points and credits. However, no option to turn off notifications. Push notifications are annoying. We'll see how annoying they become, but almost a deal breaker for me. Fix and rating will improve
If you could make it so I can transfer this to the SD card, I will be able to reinstall.
I'm not sure if it will work properly for birthday rewards, we'll see. The last user was correct though... they didn't apply the 150 points for Facebook.
Can't disable push notification. Signing up through Facebook doesn't give the 200 points stated on the description page for the app. Go back to the old emailed birthday coupons please.
I just spent $61 at Tucanos but was only given 27 points. The app says you get one point per dollar spent. That doesn't seem to be true...
Signed up for Birthday Club a year ago. Got an email proclaiming that Birthday Club was now "paperless" and called "Club Tucanos." Nowhere does it tell me HOW to get my "free" birthday meal that I have waited a year to claim. I'd rather have the paper...
There is some glitches but bottom line is you get a free birthday meal from a free app. How can you complain about that?

Food is amazing as always highly recommend this place for many special reasons, but your app doesn't allow us to buy gift certificates. :(
