Telling someone(s) your whereabouts when YOU prefer to, without presuming the recipient(s) to have a specific program installed, and using just plain SMS(and not forcing an answer-SMS), is for me a good idea. This app cover that function well, but in an ideal app I would like to have seen two extentions: 1. Preloading(from contacts) the actual recipients in a smaller app-specific list(maybe "groups", from where it is more easy to pick them. 2. Optionally (if possible at my position) send (a MMS ?) the GoogleMap-image(street/terrain/satelite/hybrid-format) with my location resolved, with or without the http-reference to GoogleMaps(location-icon could be my google profile-image). This would greatly speed up the receiver(s) understanding of my position. Besides, I do not have to presume that the receiver has the ability to connect to the Internet, even if I have it !
