About Rounds — score pad

Use Rounds to keep score when you play cards, mini golf and other games. It's better than pencil & paper scoring because it totals your score automatically.

“I was impressed by its simplicity.”

Rounds is the only score pad you'll need for card games like Rummy, Hearts and Oh Hell. It can track points for board games like Scrabble and Carcassonne. And it works for special deck games like Tichu, Mu, Haggis and Lost Cities. Golfers will like Rounds' ability to score mini golf, disc golf and of course... golf.

It's better than most of what is out there. For a paid option you get more colors, which is pretty dry. -1 Star: We cannot delete a round. No option to set rounds per game (and then add more if needed). I'd also like to actually save a game type to recall rather than just using rematch. Edit: I removed my objections about deleting rounds and players. Good follow up by the devs. I bumped it to 4 star.

by N####:

This is fantastic. One (minor) complaint is that the have history always shows one more round than was actually scored. As far as I can tell this is unavoidable. Even if you only score one round and never use extra rounds, the history still says you played a two round game.

Beautiful design, easy to use, really practical. I love it. Thanks a lot for this app. May be an "undo" function would be useful, when I, for example, forget to click to the next round and overwrite the previous score. Another suggestion: a timer, so we can check how long does it take for each of us to play their turns. And a question: hire can an old game be deleted. thanks!

K70%
by K####:

I would like a few more players also, maybe up to 12. Is there a way to delete old games? I see history filling up fast and I don't need it. Also a way to track bids for card games like spades would be cool.

M70%

Probably best generic score keeper on Android. * Would be great if choosing players was a checkbox list of previously entered players (& you could delete users from list if needed).

I recently saw a friend using this while we were playing a board game. I got it immediately as it's nicer than any other score taking app I've got.

N70%

Works nicely, but would be better if you could look at the history that got you to your current score...

Best damn score tracking app ever, is better than perfect

I love this app, but I can't believe I still can't use it on a smart watch!

Very well designed and implemented. Best scoring app I've found!

Absolutely awesome scoring app. Perfect for our board game nights

I have tested thirteen score keeping apps and this one was - by far - the best. It has an amazing layout, very original, with a wheel that suppresses the need for a customization feature for the +points buttons. All the features I needed were present (e.g. adding players to an ongoing game, naming games and players, reverse score and score keeping by round). It would be nice if you increased the cap of 8 players per game, though. Eight might not be enough for some games.

Can you please add that?

Love it. Exactly what I need 99% of the time, and way way faster and more flexible than other options. The UI is brilliant.

Best scorekeeping app.

M70%

Simply the best scorekeeping app I've tried. You just "dial" in the points. The faster you dial, the faster it counts, so scoring 250 points is as easy as scoring 5. Up to 8 players, can do High Score or Low Score games, indicates the leader automatically, can pick a start player at random. 02/02/16: And now it has 5x and 10x stepping in scores! Yee-HAW!

R70%

Can you please put in an optional timer of sorts in the middle of the circle? So I can give a player x sec to make a move.

Love this app, fantastic design! Paid for the color selection even though I don't care about that feature, thanks for the great app!

Y70%
by Y####:

Beautiful design concept, works very nicely on the phone to increase and decrease scores, and adjust previous scores if corrections are needed. Love the color options and smooth design. Would like a starting score base to dial down to zero to win. Perhaps add a column for target score as some games the target winning score is decided on start, and more than one could win.

Y70%
by Y####:

Simple to use app. I am however missing some common used colors in boardgames such as white and black.

I tried alot of other score keeping apps. This one is great. Simple UI, innovative, fun

V70%

Great but needs to support 6.0 backup functionality!

O70%
by O####:

I tried it out in a 2-person game of Lost Cities. The simplicity and intuitiveness blew me away. The app makes it not only easy, but actually fun to total the scores per column! Easily everything I'll ever need for any sort of add-em-up in any board game, as long as simple scalar arithmetic is enough to determine the winner. More convoluted scoring systems, like "whoever has the highest in their lowest category" (Rainer Knizia, I'm looking at you!) are best handled with specialized apps.

N70%
by N####:

It's simple yet useful, and it looks cool....I'm enjoying this scorekeeping app over the one I've usually used in the past....It could use more features though, so it's too bad the development seems to have been abandoned....It adds an extra unnecessary round after each new one.

N70%
by N####:

Would add a fifth star if there was a timer option included... Something like a shot clock, that you can start per turn. Would love the option to customize the display in terms of font, size and location of objects?

E70%
by E####:

Dialing to enter score is useful only for games that add only a handful of points per round; for anything as complex as, say, Racko, the choice to just TYPE IN DIGITS would be a vast improvement. Uninstalling.

N70%
by N####:

Really clever and intuitive app design. Wonderful stuff. :-)

N70%
by N####:

And I did not think that was possible. Pay for the colors if you play 5 crowns.

N70%
by N####:

Perfect. Does exactly what you need it to with a clean UI and just the right amount of features without being obtuse or overbearing.

N70%
by N####:

While learning to program I briefly flirted with the ambition to create my own score keeping app. Then my friend introduced me to Rounds and I gave up. No way I could top this!

N70%
by N####:

Love this app. Only thing missing for me is maybe showing dealer for card games.

N70%
by N####:

This is the score keeping app to get. The fact that it is usable for any kind of game makes it an extremely useful app - especially when pen and paper is not always around anymore! EDIT: Notes about unlocking paid users have been added to the description (or I did not notice before) and the developer has made everything right again. No complaints anymore and back to five solid stars!
