CrimeReports gives you real-time access to neighborhood level crime and sex offender information. The CrimeReports app is your window into the largest crime mapping and sex offender website in the world. The CrimeReports app gives you access to official crime information for over 1200 participating law enforcement agencies across North America and sex offender data for all 50 US states. As a bonus, if your local police agency is participating, you can sign up for free, automated email crime updates directly from your Android device.
Please note that if your local law enforcement agency is not currently sharing data with CrimeReports, you will only see registered sex offender data. Your agency can partner with CrimeReports for free, so let them know you'd like to see local crime data on CrimeReports. More agencies are joining every day, so please check back often.

The data is provided by individual police departments. My town, Hamden, CT just started entering data and it works well. For some reason, my Galaxy Note Pro says that the app isn't compatible, but my Galaxy s5 will install it.

Website and app need to be in sync. Went to the website to get information and decided to download the app. However did not see the same information or lack thereof. I also followed the directions to zoom out and zoom back in to "refresh" and it still did not change the information. Will be uninstalled.

You should allow the ability to logout after logging in to create alerts. Currently once you log in you are permanently logged in until you uninstall the app.

Download spotcrime, it actually had the reports. There are 4 on my block alone and this app shows nothing in the entire area. Useless app tho it should be over full of reports.
