About Blood Pressure Log

Blood Pressure Log will help you store and analyse your blood pressure, pulse and weight readings made by your doctor, or at home. Now you can have your data at hand wherever you are, whatever you do. Your doctor will love it too!

The app allows storing all crucial details, and for as many users as you like too, each having their own dataset. The details you can store include date and time, site and position, systolic and diastolic pressure, heart rate, weight (in kg or lb). Each entry can be stored with an optional comment (all versions), and a set of text tags (version 1.5 or newer).

The app also provides some essential analysis, presented in a quick overview screen and a set of charts. The overview screen summarises minimum, maximum and mean values over a pre-defined period of time, and time of day, with indication of long-term trend. As an extension to the basic analysis, the app provides multiple charts which can use all data points separately or daily averages (configurable). All data is assessed based either on the North American JNC7 classification, or the European ESC classification, which is configurable.

We believe in data freedom and, unlike most apps of this type, we provide the ability to export your data in the most common machine-readable formats: CSV, XML and JSON. You can also provide your doctor with all of your data in advance of a visit, simply by sending a web page-like (HTML) report via email. All of those export formats can also be uploaded (and downloaded from) to Dropbox and/or Google Drive in the Pro version. You can easily backup and restore data either in the app's native format or using CSV.

The Pro version additionally supports importing data from the following wireless, Bluetooth(tm) enabled devices:
↪ A&D UA-767PBT
↪ A&D UA-851PBT
↪ A&D UC-321PBT
↪ A&D UC-324PBT

You can disable ads by purchasing a Pro-version license key in Android Market from within the application.

NOTE: Please send bug reports, questions and feature requests directly to support@bplog.it or through our Facebook page.

NOTE: This application *is not* a blood pressure monitor and thus will not allow *making* a reading of your blood pressure. You need to use your own calibrated and certified BP meter for that (most sold worldwide are), or ask your doctor to make a reading for you.

What are users saying about Blood Pressure Log

I70%
by I####:

The recorded measurements are displayed in a nice colourful manner although I myself preferred the setting (which now appears to have been removed) that allowed for displaying a more condensed view. If it's still there then I am unable to find it.

Y70%
by Y####:

I use to love it, but It's not like it use to be. You can't see what you are doing for commercials. Do the Pro version have commercials as well. Cuz if do, I will need to find me something else. Please respond ASAP.

Liked the app enough to pay for the Pro version but found that the export to Google Drive option did not work. Part of file seems to upload but does not complete. Refund applied for. If this issue is fixed I would use and pay for the app if I have not found an alternative by then.

Y70%
by Y####:

I would like to see the log show up in the history view since I often take my blood pressure twice, once before my exercise program, and then afterwards. It would be more visible when showing my cardiologist why my blood pressure was high.

B70%
by B####:

I have used this for ages and love the simplicity of it. It is very easy to export data to email to the doctor or print it out.

Y70%

Very responsive to comments. Even nice when I was wrong.

Have used this for several years and found it very good. Track blood pressure and weight daily. Would take away a half star due to losing data after Android update (backup failed). LG G3

Q70%
by Q####:

The features in the free version are probably enough for most folks, but the app is so good, it's worth paying for.

J70%

Love this app. The pro version is a must. Great app. Love it. Thank you so much!

Q70%

This does exactly what I need it to and the developer seems intent on making useful improvements. Definitely support the pro version.

Support responds to query. Tagging works. Very easy to use and features the location and position of the reading. Would have rated it 5 had it included location and position in the report and fixing other deficiencies.

Q70%
by Q####:

Great app, logs everything I need not only blood pressure but weight, would like to request automatic update to server, on a daily basis, or to Gdrive etc. That would make it just perfect. Have purchased the pro option. Used daily, my Dr loves this app for record keeping of my Blood Pressure (& weight). Awesome, highly recommended.

Q70%
by Q####:

Has manual export so that's a start

Q70%
by Q####:

Already purchased so that I can transfer to new phone, now asking me to purchase again! Do I have to buy for all devices, which is ridiculous? Edit - my error, did not have installed correctly on new phone. Back to the 5* it deserves...

Q70%
by Q####:

Used exactly same format as their export file to import me data. Suggested data was imported but won't display

Q70%
by Q####:

Easy to use and track BP. Weight tracking gets screwed up by lb vs kg conversions. I set to nonmetric but it keeps thinking lbs input is kg, so converts 100 lbs to 220 lbs (an example). But I didn't get app to track weight.

C70%
by C####:

Simple, logical & easy to use and upload stats to your doc.

Q70%
by Q####:

Does everything. Being colour blind, I would like the option to alter the red/green dots but otherwise, close to perfection.

What is the chart toggle icon at the lower right of the main screen? Can't find explanation on Help page. Thanks!

Have repeatedly attempted to transfer data from old to new phone by uploadiing data to Dropbox in all available formats and importing. Fails each and every time. Still waiting for response. I have years' worth of postings to transfer.

The best!

When can you update category to JNC 8. I m 66 years old. The new criteria is more suitable for Seniors

And it will stay a one until you offer an adfree paid version or get rid if the Obama campaign ads... It only raises my blood pressure higher... good app... but don't want to know you politics.

Z70%
by Z####:

This was a usable app, but something changed. Either the app was changed or didn't keep up on revisions of Android. The charts are now worthless, the pinch doesn't work and it displays dates that don't have data, which makes it impossible to see a trend.

R70%
by R####:

It says "No Data Available". Otherwise this is a great app.

D70%

Charts issue is fixed, thank you. A nice app.

D70%

My doctor wants me to keep up with my blood pressure and this really helps since I'm a digital person not to pay per

Cool ! The update is working good for me. This app is a good buy.

Export stopped working 5 May

V70%

The "notes" field could be a little bigger. I put all the Rx I've taken for the day there. This new version made the notes field so small it's difficult to read the contents. An SpO2 field would also be handy now that Finger Pulse Oxometers are available to everyone.

D70%
by D####:

Export to spreadsheet (Google Sheets - Google Drive) has stopped working on the latest release. Otherwise really good app (though don't understand the "traffic light" meanings on the history log)

D70%
by D####:

Does what it's description states. Sort of silly it uses a traditional BMI calculator, I may be 5' 10" and 180 lbs., but with ~12% body fat I hardly qualify as overweight.

E70%
by E####:

Great app. I Love that i can keep a log of my pressure for my next doctors visit but how am i supposed to know what all the different color codes mean. Really would help alot if you could tell me what they mean everytime i log in my pressure. THANKS
