e-Lost Report

It is a useful and convenient app. Following is the process 1. After downloading the small app. 2. Register with a list of documents like PAN, Adhaar etc.. And also a email id and your mobile phone number 3. An OTP (one time password) is generated and sent to your mobile phone and email id. (NOTE : sometimes the OTP does not reach your mobile, this is if DND is activated on your phone. **Email it will go onto your spam folder. 4. Once you are registered, enter the details of lost item, where, when, how, a brief description. 5. Submit the details, and then a complaint is registered, with a compliant number. This is fast and immediate. The compliant copy is sent to your email id. You also have provision to download a pdf copy immediately. That's all, as simple as that, no going to police station, no waiting, no wasting time of yours and that of the police. Commendable initiative of Bangalore police!

Worst scam from Bangalore Police and their government. I lost my phone and on arriving they are simply mentioning that we cannot do anything. Just for report download the app and register but we wont find your lost item. What kind of 3rd class police service is this. Taking normal tax payers money and digesting without even feeling the guilt. These people could not find my phone even when it was ringing the whole day. Shame on these guys.

This app is only to Lodge a complaint, What abt the STATUS of the lost item. I HAVE ALREADY Lost 3 mobiles, recent mobile is just one month before I lost. Till now no action have been taken although submitting the IMEI no. Will I ever get my mobile and the data present it. If the app is used to Lodge a complaint, then this app is TOTAL WASTE. Kindly update the app which provides the status of the lost product

I see in other reviews that there is a misconception. This app is mainly to obtain an fir for applying for duplicate documents and police will not take any action due to this complaint. The concerned police station will get an alert that an fir is launched. Hope this helps.

Completely useless app. Almost 2 months over still my theft mobile has not yet found. Don't waste your time

Completely useless app, one can get only report but no action. Far better than police coz they are not even lodging complaints.they keep u sending here and there.

Huge savings on time and effort. Different matter if we can get the lost item.. But at least lodging the complaint is so hassle free. Thanks bangalore police.

Excellent App, Lodging a police report about my lost documents was so easy and quick. I also got FIR number through SMS and copy of FIR on my registered email ID within seconds. Hats off to Bangalore City Police and Thanks :)

This app makes it easy to file lost reports which is needed for reissue of duplicate documents. Note that loss does not mean theft and therefore does not entail any investigation by the police.

Totally Useless app it will be genrate report only but police will never investigate on that, Even they clearly mentioned in app police will never investigate on generated reports. Then why they created this app??

My phone is Stolen in bus then I went to PS for giving complient but one police is told me to download this app and give complient . I am downloaded but it never submit my complient it's waste of time ... It's never work...Please don't suggest to any one

Useless app. Unable to file the complaint as it is giving error please try again. Tried so many times :-(

It's not at all taking OTP while registering. There's some technical problem in the app.

Preview before submitting the report is not available. I can't edit my report after submitting. Unknowingly I entered my wrong mobile number and now I am unable to edit it to make it correct. Please add the edit feature.

It does not work on iOS devices IPhone

Actually this app is far better then police are sitting inside police station and doing nothing

Can't login back, can't select police station, or sub division or division..can't complaint.

In place and time page I can enter a place but then, I can't go to enter or select the police station or subdivision or division.but why ????? please help

I have a doubt. Wouldn't all cell phones, although lost fall into theft if sims are changed? So the phone won't be actively traced but instead only tracked if found by other means?

Tried to register several times but was not successful. Cops need to say us raise a complaint once it works instead they are getting away just displaying app and it's applications issue. Edit 1 - finally after trying several times I could register my lost report. Still would rate it as two star due to the inconvenience caused while registering

Giving 3 stars because it was easy to register my complaint. But my question is that whether any action will be taken to find my cellphone? or this is just to register and sit simply type thing?

I lost my mobile phone went to siddapura police station,they advised go through this app ,but I tried 1000 times for registration, every time struck verify otp never verified Otp how can I complain,how can I get my phone, due to unable lodge a complaint in online or dia agree to take manual complaint at police stations, d system and app is very much supportive to thieves and crime

Very easy to use I have raised a complaint about lost of my mobile got the LR no don't know how many months or years they take many of them says that "you will not get the mobile because they won't work no it" .

Not even worth 1 star. Only good looking app is not enough, way of work by department also matters. No response to my complaint. No action taken. Since months.
