The latest update has made is so that I see my 'live' pictures in bursts. It pauses and then shows me three seconds of footage in 1 second. Very odd - and not very good. On top of that one of my cameras has stopped working - constant fast flashing red light. Contacted customer support. No reply!

Lack's audio configuration, I hear audio for notifications from other apps but curiously not this one. Do I need to have the phone opened and watch for a push? Expectation is for the app to have its own audio configuration settings for alerting when receiving a notification, without this it seems rather pointless. ...UPDATE - having installed the third party app MegaSound, notifications are now audible. The only other issues remaining with this app is the inability to delete archived files.

I would rate it higher if it just wasn't so slow. Otherwise the app is fine and does a good job of providing the needed function. Unfortunately updating the app hasn't seemed to have affected performance. Again the app seems fine and provides needed function but it is slow

Hardly ever get notified when entering or leaving location. Would be better if recording were activated if phone was off as well. I can be away from location with phone off or battery had run out yet it seems that location recording was never activated.

Camera works with very good resolution and the audio is decent but the app takes forever to connect and fails more times than connects. If they ever figure it out it will be a 5 star but til then it is the 2 star at best and that is generous.

Love the new features ad hoc recording etc. Movement detection good with good recording time. Camera not ideal installed internally viewing external visibility good during day but not at night due to window reflection therefore install externally discreetly Highly recommend

Will open on WiFi but not on 4g network on o2. Useless app had to use the Y-cam other app works all the time

It only works for me under wifi from indoors. Even 4G gives a 'failed to retrieve camera list' and other connection error messages. Recently tried the location recording and that is the same in that I get a 'geo location' error within minutes of leaving home. Using the app to set location recording indoors is instant as no movement is detected with time phase set to trap movement. Not my phone because everything else zips along under 4G. Plus I can access my settings perfectly OK via the phones browser route. On the positive side, forgetting the app, the camera and functionality is superb and I would recommend this solution to anyone. Just needs the app connectivity sorting.

Got two as Thanksgiving deal, but found the outdoor one having issue, its cable disconnect me from time to time by gust of wind. Contacted the email address below, instead to replace my camera, just give me instructions to give them information, like network speed, which not apply to my case: my indoor camera works fine at exact location! Even today, I have issues with my outdoor camera. Will update here as soon as my issue having progress.

This app works well in most respects. The weak point in my opinion is the Location recording, fiddly to set up and get working and very dependent on the efficiency of your phone's GPS. This varies from make to make. My phone has a significant lag in updating which means I found 39 video clips of myself stored. I feel it would be nice if one had the option of locking the camera to one's local wifi and forgetting GPS.

Half the time can't connect to camera, you have to try over and over, with zero diagnostics or indication of why it can't connect, then there is a lag of about 3 seconds in the video and the audio quality is garbage. Good luck understanding anything you hear. Recorded clips don't show up right away, so if you get a motion alert, you can't quickly check what it was. No customization of notifications and no integration with other smart home products. But there is no monthly fee, and the emailed pictures are convenient, those are the only reasons I keep them.

Can't open the same recorded video once it has already been watched.

Requires very little setup effort, gives one more layer of security.

It was so easy and quick to install I couldn't have asked for more. It works on all my devices (pc, tablets, mobile) and I've now installed a second camera in a different location. It's worth paying extra for the best. I've had the first camera installed for about 18 months and it is completely reliable. Really recommend it to someone who wants minimum technical involvement but a good solid piece if kit.

It's been about three weeks since getting the y cam fitted it's so good but still finding the right setting not always detecting but overall it's so good

Using the app, is very slow since last update. When I try to use the app remotely and away from home an error occurs showing the cameras cannot be fetched? What's the point of the app if I can't use it?

Constant drops out and app failing. Needs an update to resolve stability

Does everything I need, had it for a couple of weeks, 2 indoor and 2 outdoor cameras via Wi-Fi. Very stable and app works great on Wi-Fi or 4g

The new interface and updates for location monitoring are super. I would suggest option for email "leaving/arriving" notification or at least a sound as when driving I don't monitor visual cues but I do want to know monitor is "on".

App goes into sleep mode 3 - 5 minutes after turning it on. And when I restart it, it gives an error. So I have to shut off the app completely and start it back up.

Sometimes both my cameras work, sometimes it does. Recordings go on longer than the actual duration (stuck on playback screen). Cannot always view them live. Sometimes causes wifi to fail and have to reset wireless. Cannot change recording times nor sensitivity etc. Needs IFTTT integration.

I can view my house inside and out when I am away makes me feel secure.

Excellent for keeping a live or recorded check on things, especially free 7day cloud storage .

This app does everything I need. But it is slow to respond.

Everything works good about 80% of the time. Sometimes camera recording goes to off on its own. Cloud play back is slow, and live view has 7 to 8 sec delay. WiFi seems to only work if very close to router. Not sure where your servers are located or quality, but I think that is my problem some times, but can't complain too much since it's free.

Do not know if it's the camera or the app, but when you try to view away from home all you get is a black screen but you do get sound, my send it back for a refund.

Excellent viewing window to all your cameras. Would like some more features, but for now it does what is required.

Find the app quite handy due to the cloud functionality.

Motorola X Play running android 6.0.1 Setup of camera was easy and the app works well for me on my phone except for video recording on demand. It does work however on my wife's Motorola E running 6.0 Everything else is Okay. Help desk said an update was imminent, so hopefully it will soon work as expected.

Depending on your WiFi or phones connection you will receive all the info you need with this app.

Doesn't work at night and doesn't catch all the movement. Not good at all.

App seems kind of slow on android, doesn't allow you access to all the settings and archived videos wouldn't open. Had to use the full site still.

This app is excellent saves me logging in via browser and all my archives are displayed in date order with instant video playback. Can't fault it! plus if you sign in from different device for the first time, notification is received. 5 star from me..

I tried this app on both iPhone & android and it crashes on both. Sometimes it connects, sometimes it doesn't. Switching cameras on and off via the app is temperamental. Rain and insects set the camera off constantly at night. Sms notification isn't working. Most importantly, if you don't upgrade to pay anything from £50 a year for one camera and an additional £37 a year for every other camera there is no ability to save any important recordings onto a format whereby you can send it to police or insurance

Phone doesn't stay awake when live streaming with latest update! When live streaming the phone should be kept awake, otherwise the screen shuts off at the timeout. Or at least give us an option to choose if it should be kept awake. Constant breaking crackling audio. I cannot multi select. I can't download... Pretty basic stuff... No?

Good picture. Live update. Easily seen through internet.

Had problem since update customer service second to none. Everything you could ask for in cctv. So glad I got this product. Thanks.

Have 3 HD cameras, originally gave this 5 stars but the app has become unworkable and cameras are going to be re-registered to see if it solves the problem.
