Entwickelt wurde das Gesundheits-Sportgerät von Johann Salzwimmer. Der hervorragende Tennisspieler und Skifahrer erhielt die Diagnose Parkinson und machte sich auf die Suche nach einer Methode, um weiter mobil zu bleiben und seinen Zustand zu stabilisieren. Eine Integrationswerkstätte in OÖ wurde gegründet, wo die smoveys von Hand hergestellt werden. Mittlerweilen gibt es unzählige Kooperationen, u.a. mit Weight Watchers, Diabetes Health Care und dem Deutschen Parkinson-Verband, Fitnesstudios, Wellness- und Gesundheitshotels...
