Smart Connection Manager allows you to save battery and avoid excessive electromagnetic exposure by automatically disabling mobile data connection when you lock the screen.
The manager allow you to keep receiving notifications by automatically re-enabling the connection from time to time for some minutes to permit sync.
HOW SCM WORKS::
This app permits to control the data connection in a smart way, switching off wifi and 3G/4G connections when you don't use it. It enable/disable your data connection, when the screen is locked or when you put your device in the pocket or in the bag, so your battery will last much longer and reduce exposure to electromagnetic waves when it is not strictly necessary.
Features:
* manual switch on/of wifi, umts and bluetooth
* automatic connections switch off when the phone is locked or in the pocket
* scheduled interval switch on to receive email, facebook, twitter, whatsup updated.
* night mode to switch off all connections (air plane mode) at a set time
Note: to maximize battery saving set higher re-connection interval or totally disable it (you will lose notification)

As well as automatically turning off connections when screen is locked, it might be as good to automatically turn on connections when screen is unlocked so, you won't have to turn it on manually each time screen is unlocked

It is very good app for the functionality mentioned but somehow is not working on my one plus phone. So many times, WiFi doesn't turn on after getting off even manually. Only works after reboot. Would have rated 5 otherwise.

Sarebbe bello potere inserire le applicazioni che attivano la rete dati senza che questa venga spenta. per esempio io uso androidlost, con un sms posso attivare la rete e sapere dove si trova il telefono. Inoltre quando il cellulare è sotto carica si dovrebbe potere scegliere se lasciare la rete attivata, per esempio per i backup. Inolte a che serve la funzione "traffico dati" che controlla quanti dati sono scambiati prima di spegnere la rete ? lo chiedo allo sviluppatore. Grazie

Dear dev. I really like this app. The off screen is working well. Wifi and data auto manager also working good. The main problem is with the sleep mode. It trigger the Flight Mode On, which is not good. No calls can be received or made. Disaster!!! Really hope u could improved that. All data off during sleep is good. If can be improved, 5 stars, no doubt.

I'm using the app on my nexus4 to conserve battery and mobile data(which is counted per mb block), it seems to work perfectly. I'd suggiest to have a dedicated set of control timers for each connection type, and allow continuous adjustment of the timer values( e.g, 1s, 2s, 3s... instead of 1, 5, 10...) in future updates. Thanks developer, please bring it on. Updates: there's a bug with android 4.4.4 on Nexus 4, where wifi gets locked up when trying to turn back on after waking up from sleep.

congrats developer!! amazing app, way better and simpler than other that are not for free like JD etc... only a question. sending videos via whatsapp stop when i block the screen so i have to keep the screen awake until the end of the upload. i'm pretty sure I'm missing a setting of the application. how can i let the connection go even with screen off while sending videos?
