Say the Time - Talking Clock for Android
The app works and say the time as it should. Unfortunately your app is registered as an alarm clock on some system thus delaying the time announcement by 4 min. So if you set it at 30 min interval you'll get your announcement at 34 min.. There is no setting to tell the system that this app is not an alarm.. There are free apps that does simillar functions as this with lots more configureable feature.. please fix.. tq
This used to work perfectly on my galaxy s4, but now it announces at 803, 905, 1003.. never on the hour. Even removed and reinstalled. Developers did not respond to my request for help
I have had this app on many phones. Very much a must have. This is a simple app with no updates but works great. I wish it would speak my battery persent
No longer works properly on newer versions of android. This app has apparently been abandoned since the developer no longer responds to customers.
It needs a little work. It announces the time anytime it feels like it. Needs a way of tuning it to a set time. Love the different voices!
App doesn't work. I set the app to speak the time every 60 minutes but it can't do that. Disappointing. Guess what, this is what you get for free.
Awsome app! Question, though the voices that are used, can they be downloaded or purchased separately elsewhere? For example, for use with text to speech applications.
Does anyone else have issues with the clock going off at weird times like 9:59 then again at 10:00 or 10:04?
Needs: SHAKE PHONE TO TELL TIME. Like my 2 different bedside talking clocks, one talks with a shake, the other with the button.
Been looking for talking clock that would tell me that time at 3 half-hour hour thank you very much for having this
It's a neat little app, but it needs a widget that allows me to press it and it will say the time.
Time is exact. Announces often 1 to 4 minutes later than Time need to be announced.
Works well. My only gripe is that the "fast" voice is so fast you can't make out the time.
Not work properly on Android Lolipop and up.
Does its job. Simple interface. Customisable.
I have the desktop version on my laptop and had to have this!
The voices are terrible, but with a help from Ally M., now it's working perfectly.
Please include new updates features
Great app!!
Excellent!
Add new not to disturb wile enjoying music no update since long time so please update your applications as I stated above
I'm not sure if the problem is me or not. I have it set on 10-minute intervals. but the app is only speaking the time every 30 minutes. maybe the 10-minute interval doesn't work? can anyone help? Should I try the 15-minute interval? I'll try that. also note that I have it set so that it reads the clock even when not on Wi-Fi. slightly disappointed after reading all the rave reviews. I picked this app because it had the 10-minute interval option. thanks.
I am using Samsung j7 this application is not working properly
Have had "Say the Time" on my computer for years and love it, so happy to have it on my phone, too! Would love to see a widget that talked with a quick tap (my blind father would love that) and maybe a "Universal Time"/GMT option, too!
Works great I love the southern female voice. Only thing that bugs me is for example instead of saying 4 o'clock it may say it's 4:02 or something like that. Other than that I love it..
Great app. Very clear sounding voices. Especially like the choice of attention tones before the time anouncment, & the choice of how the anoucment is said. Have mine anoucing every 15 minutes.
The voices are terrible, but with a help from Ally M., now it's working perfectly.
Not saying the time on the hour! Wrote to the developer about it, no response.
Does what it says with good customization. However one feature wish: Enable on specific WLAN is a great idea but I would need it the other way around: Enable when in the public transport between places (resp. WLAN networks), but not at work.
Very good. Good natural sounding voices, and the option to use wifi to toggle on and off is very handy.
My only issue with the app is that I can't specify which days of the week that it announces. I use it to keep tabs on the time as I get ready for work in the morning, so it only needs to say the time between 6:59 and 7:01 from Monday to Friday. Right now I need to remember to disable/enable manually every Friday/Sunday evening. To have that done automatically would make it 5 stars for me!
El Mejor Reloj Parlante para todas las Versiones de Android. MĂșltiples voces para elejir. Nunca Falla !!!!
Excellent!
Most excellent!
I've used this program for probably over 20 years on my personal computer and I was very happy when I saw it could be installed on my Android phone.

A friend of mine told me about this app, and he made a convert out of me. I really like this app, and I prefer the southern US female voice as well as Paula. Paula sounds like an anchor for the ABC Down Under!
Superb app for a busy person.

This is a cute app but I would like to have more control options for how often it goes off. Like maybe a spot to manually input however many X hours apart it could go off. Also, love the voice options. Is it possible that the creator could add something that sounds like Christopher Walken?
