iShredder™ 5 Enterprise Eraser for Android
Did you cancel your beta testing? I was a beta tester but now don't see an option for it
The application is not working. It stops at 24% for hours. I wish I had Ver. 4 back. A least I knew it worked. Sorry
Version 5 won't work on my device.. version 4 unavailable now.. paid for a product I can't use.. not cool. UPDATE: new update fixed issues.. now great again
Very good developer support!
Bring back 4, 5 keeps closing when trying to delete files, can't shred anything from SD card, useless app. ishredder 4 worked fine, let me keep that
Is there any way to upgrade from enterprise to military version without to pay full price again?
Says in the app picture NATO was in the enterprise addition but it seems you removed NATO from enterprise and into Military addition.. I can't seem to use NATO without military even though it shows you can use NATO in enterprise edition with apps picture in what you can do in each version? I will change review after a reasonable reply has been made. looks like a mistake when updating the app to me.
The UI is much improved. The guided shredding process is more intuitive. The password lock is simpler, which has aligned with their other products. Personally I preferred the other system, harder for someone to bypass and cause havoc. The new Mil version is the new full/compete version, which is a shame in some ways as it was not available previously as an option, but it does give new users more choice on how much they value their privacy. Looking forward to the new schedule option when it becomes available.
Excellent secure shredder app. Been using iShredder apps for a while and nothing comes close to offering the huge choice of secure methods (depending on the edition you have purchased) and the latest update improves speed and visual aspects of the app greatly. Also great customer service staff who reply almost instantly to emails with clear and precise advise.
Great app. Great support. Well worth the money
Running Android N 7.1.1 and works fine. Deleted 60MB file in about 2 mins on a 4 pass routine. Much improved UI. Gets the thumbs up from me!
I know but enterprise should have supported all features as it's name sound like! Before there was no military edition but now you have four different versions! Free/Pro/Military/Enterprise and which one is complete with all features??
Keep my phones safe
Thanks!!!!!!
I scanned some personal docs on my phone and were deleted a while back. I used DoD 5220.22 ECE standard 7 passes to remove them. They're still there after running DiskDigger app. I will request a refund. Last thought I might not be able to recover the deleted files but a scan of a credit card or a SIN is still readable as a thumbnail. I wanted to clarify that deleting the files was done before I installed iShredder and when performing the 7 passes I was erasing free space. Update: I performed a factory reset and all thumbnails have disappeared. Started on a clean slate and the product works as advertised. Thx
Upgraded to Enterprise from Pro and couldn't be happier. There is no other data shredder that comes close to iShredder. If you care about your data privacy, buy this app. It's definitely worth the few bucks!
Ran it. Then used the Disk Digger. Disk Digger recovered all photos and subnails. This application does not wipe off free space. I wished I could get my money back. Waste of time and money.
Great app. Diskdigger still found deleted files after using the free version, but not with the enterprise version.
** Three stars for response pending updates*** 1. This is a great app, if it actually did what it was supposed to do. Worst of all it gives the false sense of security. Overwriting files works splendidly for hard drives, but not the flash memory essentially all mobile devices use. Encryption is the only way to go sadly. 2. SMS does not delete MMS or any SMS before the. 3. Gutman method _was_ great but even gutman said it was outdated. 4 the fix: do something like fstrim or OEM flash wipe. You all seem intelligent work towards a better solution.
The app works, I bought the enterprise version and it's money well spent. Those people who give low star ratings are dumb. Why pay to upgrade when you can just right off the bat buy the best version? Why give it a bad rating because your device sucks and can't even run this app? Why give a low rating cuz YOU forgot the PASSWORD that YOU set? I have 6gigs of ram in my OnePlus 3 and it runs super smooth even with this app in the background doing 50 cycles. If the flaw is with you, don't condemn the developer.
Does this make it impossible to recover browsing history? I know it does with files but what about browsing history?
I am running the 50 cycle, seems that it'll take roughly about 10 to 15 days to complete for a 64gb phone with snapdragon 810, this seems unacceptable, I am surprised this hasn't been mentioned anywhere. My question is, will Disk Digger be able to recover any data from this device once this is complete?
I put a password on this app and I don't remember it now I can't open it
Still testing...so far seems to work okay. We'll see.
It is nice. I like it a lot, the government seals should be more clear to see. It has a nice look and feel about it. I like the different wipe options listed by government standards. I feel like it is trustworthy. I don't want anyone I cannot trust to access my private activities, like a thief, or some type of spy agent from an apposing force. I never harbor anything illegal, just things I don't want falling into the wrong hands. Thanks for this added protection to my tablet/portal.
Good job ✌️
I tested my previous issue of the videos not deleting. It was because I had not given ishredder storage permissions. Once I gave the app storage permissions, it deleted them no problem.
Or am I missing something?
When I try to delete single files, they remain and I have to manually delete them. I've yet to see the app remove a single item. I'm not trying to knock it, but I am confused.
Awesome app! It does what it says, comes with an user-friendly interface, offers a consistent list of overwriting methods and delivers information about each available option. The tech-support quality is great..as it answers in a matter of minutes and provides feedback and on-topic help each time.

I love this app. Problem is I have KitKat which is rooted and the SD card permissions are fixed and it still will not shred the free space of the SD Card. I can shred individual files on the SD card but can not shred the free space. This needs to be fixed. Please add extra mount points (sdcard1, sdcard0, etc...)
The State of Art..
I buy the "top of the line" enterprise version and it won't install on my LG GPad 8.3 or the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 I got to replace it. Only installed on my old Nexus 5. I have to buy the Pro version all over again for those devices - no thanks.

I'm running this iteration on a Pixel C and Android 7 and it runs EXACTLY as marketed. Superb presentation and simplistic work flow lends itself to a highly function UI. Under constant proactive development. If you care about your privacy (these days, seriously?!?!); buy it. Version 5 builds on prior successful design and function to elevate this app to truly Enterprise hardened end user experience. The milspec IAP is DEFINITELY worth the investment.
