Application du LOOF (Livre Officiel des Origines Félines, seul organisme habilité par le Ministère de l’Agriculture à délivrer des pedigrees pour les chats de race nés en France)

Notre application vous permettra, entre autres, de :
- Retrouver l'ensemble des races félines
- Déterminer quelle race de chat est faite pour vous
- Contacter les clubs de race et les éleveurs
- Trouver les expositions félines proches de chez vous
- Rester informé sur l'actualité du LOOF

A propos du LOOF :
La première mission du LOOF est la tenue du Livre Généalogique, c'est-à-dire l'émission des pedigrees des chats de race en France. Sans pedigree LOOF, un chat né en France, même issu de parents ayant un pedigree, ne peut pas prétendre à l'appellation « chat de race », mais uniquement, le cas échéant, à l'appellation « chat d'apparence ».

Les autres missions du LOOF sont les suivantes :
- Édition des documents officiels relatifs aux reproducteurs ;
- Orientation de chaque race, définition de son standard et de ses objectifs de sélection en concertation avec les personnes concernées ;
- Promotion des races félines ;
- Organisation de concours, formation et nomination des juges ;
- Formation initiale et continue des éleveurs.

About LOOF:
The primary mission of LOOF is holding the Herd Book, that is to say, the issue of pedigrees of purebred cats in France. Without pedigree LOOF, a cat born in France, even from parents with a pedigree, can not claim the term "purebred cat", but only, if applicable, the name "cat appearance."

Other missions LOOF are:
