As the developers are saying, it works for Android 2.xx, probably that's why it is not working anymore with the latest versions of Android. It worked fine before; contacts, sms, call logs, apps restored, but now it seems only contacts are restored. Btw, it seems when you are restoring you have to manualy select all you want to have restored (throgh the eye icon). DEVELOPERS: I still have my back up file, if you fix the app for Android 5+ and I will be able to restore my sms and apps, I will give you 5 stars

Performed beckup of call history and messages (they were most important for me), all was OK. Also according to application's notification during restore process everything was fine but in fact didn't get neither SMSes neither call history. Very very sad and disappointed

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 with a 16GB SD card installed. The application defaults its backups to my phone's internal "SD card". It goes straight to it's contents and won't even show the external SD card. Many other apps allow me to move/copy/backup etc., etc. to the external SD card or "extSDCard" as it appears in the file manager. Sorry but I'm uninstaling the application.

One of the (best),easy to use,easy to understand,secure,and safe.just like the name says (safe backup),one of (my favorites).it (saved) my most (important things) on my phone.my songs,pictures, contacts,text mssages,videos and all my applications.thanks so much.It (definitely deserves) (all stars). :):):):):):):)*******:):):):):):):)

Backup failed, 3 times. Galaxy note. Perhaps its just the fact i screwed around with the os, could be the daft my ext sd card may not have enough space. Great idea, but having a reason why backup failed would be helpful. Not going to rate it down, but will give it a 4 for the effort

This app does not restore everything it says it backed up. This includes applications, images, music, and videos. I tried to restore many times over and over again but each time it says it failed. However the good thing was that it does copy the files like applications images music and videos and puts them into folders but it renames them and you lose their original location.

Won't do what I need it to do. Does not backup memos. Keeps failing, won't let me modify settings of what I want to backup after the initial set up.

Doesn't restore anything even when it says it does, I have lost important documents and client numbers and now this app will be costing me £15,000 a week because of this so AVOID AT ALL COST!!! There is a more poupler back app than this "my back up pro" which doesn't need root to back up ur phone as other back up may need to work

For saving me from scrapping my Droid. Have had to use this app more often than I wanted. No need to backup pics if they're already being saved to your SD card...uses too much memory to backup pics & videos with Safe Backup!

Nice app in general, backup compleated, apart from when restored I had to install all apps & games in manually . I was there for hours doing this .I wish the backup app itself would do this on the touch of the restore button .

Backup hung during video copy. Allowed me to back up to external SD card then wouldn't restore from it; had to copy backup to internal SD card. Refused to restore photos; had 164, app reported image restore failure then created 732 randomly-named .jpg files and refused to open them. Indicated that SMS messages had been restored, but didn't restore them; no other way to get them back as saved to a data file. Only thing it did seem to successfully restore was contacts. Would advise avoiding this, and definitely don't rely on it if you have data you really want to keep

Twice I have relied on this app. Twice it has failed me. First time to back up to my micro SD card when I got a replacement handset - wasn't even on my MSD card. I presumed I made a mistake, so yesterday when I upgraded to the S4, tried it - realised it doesn't even save to the SD card! Backed it ALL to the phone. Absolutely pointless that it recognises the PHONE as the MSD card. Luckily I don't have to hand THIS handset in.

Bought this to backup to my home server but it fails everytime. On both windows network and FTP it gets to about 5% and then stops for about 12 hours then fails.

I did a complete back up of phone and it shows 1 gig of memory being used for that but when it can time to restore the back up, the folders can't be read by anything!! Total let down. Don't solely rely on this.

It would be better if I can access 'up folder' location, because I want backup on my sdcard2 folder.

Gona buy pro version. Puts everything back 2 where it was! Music n data :-)
