- 카메라 preview 확대(zoom)기능을 활용하여 잔글씨를 크게 키워서 읽을 수 있습니다.
- 플래쉬: 어두운 곳에서 보조 조명으로 활용할 수 있습니다.
- 사진촬영: 읽고 있는 글씨를 사진을 기록해 둘 수 있습니다.
- 초점고정 / 초점자동 : 자동으로 초점을 맞출 것인지, 아니면 실제 돋보기처럼 스마트폰을 앞뒤로 움직여 수동으로 초점을 맞출 것인지 선택할 수 있습니다.
o 단축다이얼
- 자주 연락하는 사람들에게 쉽게 전화할 수 있도록 화면을 구성했습니다.
- 처음 실행할 때 스마트폰의 즐겨찾기로 지정된 연락처를 자동으로 가져와 표시하도록 했습니다.
- 왼쪽에서 오른쪽으로 화면을 넘기면 연락처를 추가할 수 있고, 그 반대 방향으로는 삭제하는 화면이 나옵니다.

- 생존확인/고독사 방지를 위해 일정 시간 동안 스마트폰을 사용하지 않고 방치했을 때 자동으로 지정된 사람에게 문자메시지를 발송하는 기능입니다.
- 꺼짐/켜짐: 자동 메시지 발송 기능 켜기/끄기
- 시간설정: 방치해둔 기간
- 수신자: 문자메시지를 받을 사람 전화번호
- 발신문구: 문자메시지 내용
- 배터리가 부족한 상태를 지정된 사용자에게 문자메시지로 알립니다 (선택사항)

o 할매앱 제품명 및 개발 배경
스마트폰 앱 개발에 관심이 많은 직장동료 4명이 의기투합해, 어르신들이 유용하게 사용하실 수 있는 기능들을 모아 하나의 App.으로 만들어보자며 시작하게 되었습니다. 사용하실 분들을 어르신들로 가정하다보니 공동작업을 위해 개설한 네이버 BAND 이름을 HALME로 정하게 되었고, 이후 App.의 이름도 자연스럽게 할매앱(HALME App.)이 되었습니다. 할매라는 말은 할머니의 사투리이며 손자들이 할머니를 친근하게 부를 때 사용되는 말이라 이 App.을 설치하시는 분들도 친근하고 편하게 사용하시라는 의미도 담았습니다.
업무가 끝난 시간을 활용해 작업을 진행하다보니 생각한 것보다 오래 걸렸지만 이렇게 결과물이 나온 것에 대해 서로서로 뿌듯해 하고 있습니다. 처음 시작은 3개의 기능이지만 점점 기능들을 추가해나갈 예정이며 몇 개의 기능은 이미 구체화된 상태입니다. 앞으로 발전할 할매앱에 대해 많은 기대와 관심을 부탁 드립니다~
