Blaqspot - AfroSocial Networking

I really want to love this app, which is why I'm giving 4 stars. I'd like to give 5, but this app needs some work. It doesn't seem to update anymore, even after reinstalling. I'm a paying subscriber and intend to remain that way. Please address the bugs.

Yeah this app needs serious updates and upgrades. uploading pictures are zoomed in way too much, my name was changed when making my account as well, etc

I think this is the best thing that has happened to melanated people! Now we can be joined at the hip. No more excuses!

App constantly crashes it wont allow me to log in please fix , i rewlly 2ant to use this app but this app has a lot of problems that need to be addressed maybe you should fix the coding before advertising such crappy product im sorry for being so blunt but the only time this app work is when you first launched it now it wont work ill try back in a few years hopefully it works

I really like this app overall but it needs work. It constantly keeps kicking me out when I try to sign and once I do,it won't allow me to change my profile.

This app won't allow me to sign up it kicks me out. I've done several feedback but no response or able to get in still to this day it's been a year of trying to get in & get in touch with no one to get in period

So i try to use this app all the sudden few seconds later force close exit me out of this app every time trying go on there please fix errors and bugs.

I have a Samsung S7 and the app keeps crashing every time I click on it to open.

I tried but it kept crashing and the issue went unresolved. I couldn't enjoy this app at all.

I would live to sign in but everytime I attempt ro sign in, it instantly kicks me out. Please fix so I can support.

I hope it gets enough users to really be active cuz rn its a little slow but If the Biggs are fixed (which I do assume you're working on) I'm willing to watch this app make it (get popular throughout the community) one way or another, with it downloaded or not. Good app overall, however i had some minor issues. I signed up using my android phone and you literally have to go backwards from the current date (month by month) to enter your birth date which sucks. Couldn't upload my profile photo (maybe it's my phone). Otherwise everything else looks up to standards. Pretty sure there will be improvements. Good app overall.

It's a work in progress but I'm happy overall. One of the biggest issues in the black community is we don't support our own enough so ignore the bugs or help donate a min of $5 a month.

I tried to send him an email thru Contact Us to discuss creating a business-type of page, & the Send button wouldn't work. I already have Racist & Coon Hackers on my computer harassing/censoring me (who must be reported); so I believe it's them trying to block me from communicating with this wonderful brother. But that's just a temporary glitch that won't stop me from opening an account here.

This is not a bashing comment, but one that comes from a genuine place. I hope the team behind this app takes it to heart. So I logged into the website (using my fb account) via my phone's Chrome browser and everything was all dandy. So I then decided to download the app. It refused to allow me to log in with my fb account. I think the overall mission of the team behind this app is noble. However, there are a few key things that need to rectified before I can use this app and confidently recommend it to my friends and family. The goal here is to offer people a better alternative to fb. Not a mediocre alternative. We don't want people to pick blaqspot out of pity. We want people to be proud to use blaqspot and to happily recommend it to their friends and family. At this moment blaqspot is an inconvenient social media platform for me to use. I really want you all to succeed. I'm sure these are growing pains that most new start-ups deal with. I hope to come back here in the future and sing nothing but praises of how amazing this app is. I'm sure you guys will improve the app to make it user-friendly to all.

This is social media improved. I love that there is now a way to get together that is not limited to entertainment, harassment, and general unproductivity. It's nothing like productive entertainment. Did I mentioned the lack of hate groups like on Facebook? The site is being attacked by hackers and getting huge surges of new members, which would explain some of the slowness.

I think this app is off to a great start. Issues occur with all small businesses. But the owner stays on top of things and keeps us informed about his progress on his page. I can't wait to see what the future holds for this black owned social media site.

I understand that the app is fairly new. It kicks me off but I'm assuming they are having technical difficulties so I'll just wait for them to fix it. More than happy to spread the word and get some of my friends onboard.

I learned about this app from DR. Boyce Watkins commentary on one of his videos. I'm excited cause I expect this to be an awesome website so I can dis the other social media pages I have! Haven't checked it out yet but I'm spreading the word.

This will be powerful! Right now a little buggy of course have trouble logging in from the app using my twitter or Facebook it kicks me back out to the login screen then says I'm already logged in...so I tried the Web version from my phone I see things but can't like or repost... but just scrolling through the feed was very empowering and promising!!!!!

Facebook censors our posts, then offers a solution that asks for funding from the same ppl it censors. That the site is Facebook should cause pause enough. It's akin to redlining, put them in one spot so we can watch them better. It seems an open invitation to express our opinions and then be targeted. I know we have ppl in our community that can set up a site, independent of other social media, do we need a GoFundMe account to help that person out. User/pass won't work..Fbook login yes??
