Setting Profiles Full

I came from WebOS and was excited to find this app that I thought was just like tweak from Sconix. However, non-time specific triggers (location, charge, BT, wifi) although active, won't cause action to switch profile automatically. It works great when activated manually but that's not why I bought it. Maybe it's Evo3D. Maybe it's ICS update but doesn't work on this device.

This app is AWESOME. I've used it for years and decided to finally donate a beer (or two) to the developer. I update my Rom and this app stopped working... but I just un-installed and re-installed from the market and everything worked just fine again.

Even though the app is no longer supported, it still works on all of the phones I've had. Samsung s2 skyrocket, s3, s5, and the Nexus 6P. Of course, there are certain bugs and certain features don't work correctly (lock screen on/off, auto restart, auto shutdown) and certain features are missing (location, lock timer, adaptive brightness level, ...). Overall, the app does exactly what I want it to do...

This app would be amazing if it still worked. I used to consider it a must have android application. I've recommended it to friends and now I feel like a jerk. It no longer works and the developer has disappeared. DO NOT BUY. Latest version does not work at all.

I have used this for quite a while. It generally works very well. But my phone was updated to JB, and there is a bug with identifying WiFi. So far I have not heard from the support staff. It looks like it is no longer supported. Too bad.

I love this app, and appreciate it immensely. So much so that there is only one thing I would change about it. It needs an option to monitor some, but not all calendars. Right now it can monitor one or all.

As mentioned above Reboot after updating! Poke around the interface and experiment. Gives you a lot of control over phone actions and config by location, time, calendar events, app launch/exit and more. For example: Auto rotate annoys me so I keep it off, but I use Settings Profile Full to enable rotate when I launch any browser or picture viewer with one multiple condition rule (change 'and' to 'or', you'll see if you try).

This was a good product but it hasn't been updated for 18 months or more. Questions on the support email address go unanswered. The forum is pretty much dead too. Sad.

Nice app. Having multiple profiles active at the same time is a great idea and one that other settings apps should adopt. But the app hasn't been updated in over two years. Also the expression syntax is not powerful enough. Would be nice to trigger off calendar events that DON'T match any of several conditions, but it doesn't seem possible.

Creating a profile is confusing and frustrating. I want my phone to ring without any email/text notifications, which is apparently impossible...

after an enforced move to a win phone I was happy to go back to android. this app is essential. after the latest os update it's become temperamental... backgrounds drop and need to be reset. otherwise 5*.

What happened? It used to turn off my sound at night with no problems. Now I have to remember to turn it off at night or we are awakened by the beeps. Please fix!

Never sets the volume back to what it originally was. When it goes to a low- or no-sound profile, after it comes out, the volume is still low. Missed many phone calls as a result.

The key thing for me is location (cell tower) profiles. The only problem is that it no longer auto-starts. Trying it with an auto-start app. So far so good ...

Unfortunately this app is getting less stable and devs look like they've abandoned it. For Android 4.2.2, the fingers don't work on startup, you have to select a profile to get it going. As of last week timers don't work at all, a profile disappeared and you can't select ringtones. It's got the best UI and widget, but useless if it doesn't work. I've moved to free Llama now. Not as user friendly but it works well.

The free version worked great, but after I bought the paid version, it stopped working. Profiles stay on 24/7 regardless of the rule I set. Calendar doesn't work.

Used to be perfect, but now it keeps closing itself. It doesn't run at startup either. It's a real shame as I can't get tasker to do what this can

WAS great on my droid. Now NO GOOD on Galaxy S3. Very frustrating. I tried everything. Bahh!

Used it for years, used to be very good but lots of features broke with KitKat. Developer doesn't respond to emails. Is development still going on?

I have used this app on and off over several devices. However with my nexus 4 it seems to have various issues such as not being able to turn on airplane mode or being able to terminate apps (though I think the termination issue is on android not devs). Update: airplane toggle seems to be android as well. Back to five stars.

Good app, but for some time even the paid-for version is not working anymore. Not changing settings & launching the app causes it to crash. Zero stars.

Overall, the app does exactly what I want it to, but Android v5.0 broke applying profiles when the phone is first turned on or restarted & Data on/off...

Unfortunately, even mute sounds don't work in lolipop anymore... Needs urgent update. Five stars will remain for now.

Just upgraded from the HTC Desire HD to the M9 & I cannot believe 99% of this app still works perfect

I have been using this for several years now, I have tried various others, but this is the simplest and most functional. the widget isn't pretty, but the consistency and ease of use makes up for this. recommended.

Loved it on my s4, but seems to disable my lock screen no matterwhat I do now. Can't use it.

The functionality is incredable but I have to restore my configuration from backup every few weeks to keep the scheduled profiles to change when scheduled. On Galaxy S3 & S4 & S5. Fortunately, this only takes 3 clicks and 2 seconds.

Good app. No longer supported. Sometimes rules won't trigger after a reboot. Solution is to go to settings and enforce a rule scan every 30 seconds or so.

I love being able to schedule when my phone needs to be silent, and that it goes back to normal, automatically. I put key words in my calendar, so I don't have to worry about my phone making noise at work or appts.

Why just not make it as open source project? I have use this app for many years, it is a best profile app. But it has not been maintained since 2012, some function is not working at all.

Not enough triggers compared to automateit or tasker. Also hadn't been updates with new stuff in ages. Lazy dev

Overall, the app does exactly what I want it to, just hope it stays working for future Android and phone updates - however, 5.0 may be buggy, as the app is really only designed to work for 2.3 :/.

The rules detection works fine, but it can't apply the rules! So even if I have a profile "Work" saying all notification are 0% volume and incall is 100% volume, I get 100% volume for everything when this profile is active. The support is really bad! I contacted them a month ago bout that and never get any answer. Do not waste your money on this app.

Something recently is preventing my rule from recognizing TouchDown as a calendar source. I see my other calendars from Google, but I use TD for Work, and my Meeting rule no longer detects when I am busy. Please fix. Thanks...

WiFi based profiles simply don't work correctly. Worse, the developers seem to have stopped supporting it. Bug reports go unacknowledged (except by an automated response). The WiFi bug was reported more than a year ago, and nothing's been done. Location profiles other than by cell tower aren't reliable (or don't work at all, either. If it does what you need, and you don't care about bug fixes for other things, it might be worthwhile. But definitely try the free version first. This was a very good app, with potential to be a great one, but I can't recommend it to anyone now. The devs took the money and ran.

I've used and enjoyed this app for quite some time on the past few phones I have owned. It does a great job of automatically changing settings depending on different scenarios. If my calendar says I'm in a meeting or at church it turns off the ringer. If my battery is low it changes the amount of time my screen stays on then turns off mobile data and my GPS. It's quite robust. Here are my two gripes: First - I wish it would allow me to turn off the lock screen when I'm home. I want to require a password when I'm away, but if I'm at home I don't want to have to type it in. I am not able to get the app to make that change effectively. My biggest gripe is the batter issue. my phone batter has always been incredible. I can take it off the charger at 6am, use it all day, then plug it in when i crawl in bed at 10 or 11. Recently my phone started to have serious battery problems (10% battery left by lunch), and when I deleted the app they went away. Re-install the app and the battery issues returned. It seems like it was drawing quite a bit of power to the point that the phone is almost unusable if I can't keep it plugged in for a substantial amount of time during the day.

This used to be a five star app for me and one of the first installs for every new phone i got....unfortunately not anymore. Either the Profiles don't switch properly, or settings within the profiles don't activate correctly. Now looking for an alternative

I wanted to find an APP that would kick off events biased on certain criteria and this was 100x easier o use than tasker. the only feature i would want is an option to play pause music.

Does not support many features of new phones. GS4
